Apparently discussions have taken place regarding a swap deal between Jason Doyle & Robert Lambert as permanent assets. Would make sense with Doyle living in Norfolk.

Kings Lynn want £25,000 plus Doyle for Lambert.

    Source

Someone very much in the know from Tru Plant.

    Poolebolton beat me to it.

I too have gone for Somerser  @1 85 with 10.5 start. Possibly Robert Lambert and Jason Doyle scores will cancel each other out  and Somerset reserves look much stronger

For  individual  scores Jason Doyle  looks good at +2 Against  Robert Lambert on 365 @ 5/6 or you could take Robert Lambert @ 1.97 off scratch with Betsafe but sadly they will not take a lumpy bet on this

I'm the other way. Lynn win -10

Sorry to butt in, a group of us travelled up from Plymouth for the home leg, a first rate atmosphere and very good racing plus a good win.

One of are group had a bad turn just after heat 8,the St johns medical team looked after him .

This is a very big thank you to the medical team plus the Somerset staff, plus a very big thank you D/H the promoter for popping into the medical room to check on Len.

We did all get to see the last three heats.

WE are back in Plymouth now, and Len is ok after the scare he gave us, Once again a very big thank you to all the medical staff and Somerset speedway.

It turned out to be a very good night of speedway, I wish Somerset all the very best for the second leg and for next season.

Very best whishes'   Mike Bend one.

Glad you enjoyed the racing and that Len is ok. Good job all round by Somerset.

Anyway back to tonight a lot of fans are blaming Tero Aarnio for the result but he isn't a bad rider and got 6 points at Poole for Somerset earlier in the season. What do Kings Lynn fans want Howarth?

Aarnio didn't do his job, but neither did Lambo to be fair. Hope he get pick up a few more tonight.. Aarnio I mean. Lambo should be fine.

I think it could go down to HT 15.

    For Lynn

Erik should score well tonight, around 8-9 from 4.( Makes strong pair with Lambo at home)

I expect Lambo to hit 11 from 5.

    NKI. 9 from 5

TJ and Ty around 14-15 between them.

    Expecting/hoping Lynn's reserves to score around 8-9.

    Rebels....

Top scorer JD,  11...without risking to much, no need.

Reserves, still strong, 14 Inc Some of the RR rides.

    Harris, 8

Lawson needs a solid meeting as does Starke at 3 for the Rebels.

May the best team over the 2 legs win.

how lynn force poole not to use him? they could have there was nothing stopping it

    I don't think they did :t:

Lynn didn't force Poole to do anything...How could they ??? Ford wont give anything away if he thinks will help an opposing team, that's for sure.. IF Lynn and Poole agreed between themselves that Poole could use a rider that didn't fit, it was up to the powers that be so say  "NO...… We are not bending a long standing rule to suit just one meeting !!! "

    Simples.

It's done now. Might as well let it go...for now

But can you imagine what would of happened if Lynn wanted to use a rider that didn't fit against anyone, let alone Poole.

Charles Wright fits for Somerset at Lynn in the 2nd leg with +5% ..  Can you imagine it....".Oh he don't fit", I hear everyone  say.. That's sorted says May, i've dropped Buster a text and he said it was cushty… as long as Lynn can have 1 and 3 in the 1st heat.. Nothing to see here

He certainly reached a level at the Oaktree last night!!

A little under Kurtz level

Overall a fantastic season for Lambo. Started on 7.38, finished on 9.31..... 2nd only to JD.

He is entitled to an off night.. Your No 1 had plenty, Kurtz 8.08... finished 6.75.... Less than a point off of a reserve slot for Poole :P

I know what someone gonna say "He wasn't really a No1" Neither was Lambo. Kurtz started on 8.08 to Lambo's 7.38 :approve:

Think S.Lambert done his job,but we are finding it difficult to find a suitable replacement for Toft.As i said though Wright would have done the job for us.Surely once Toft was injured, confirmed last Tuesday the management should have thought about replacements then.If they overlooked Wright then that was criminal.Maybe Wright had already committed to Somerset who knows.

If you take Simons "gifted" 3rd he scored 3. That's his average, so I suppose I was a bit harsh there. If we can't use Wright, maybe if Auty is free? Capable of popping out and getting a win or 2 from reserve.

The Stars faulted because of poor performances from R.Lambert and Proctor.

The reserves practically done their job with a 5-1 in heat 2. It's up to the rest of the team to then cover the reserves in the other heats.

Bubble has exploded on the Stars season, today's result not influenced by MPT being missing. Especially as Jack Holder's replacement only bagged 6 point.

There are no excuses for King's Lynn's end of season performances, beaten by the better teams in both finals.

Apart from HT 2, I don't think a Lynn reserve beat a Somerset one in the whole meeting.. I don't think the reserves did their job myself. Simons 3rd was a 3 rider race.

    Tero Aarnio (guest) - 2', 0, 0, 0 = 2+1
    7. Simon Lambert - 3, 0, 1', 0 = 4+1

I said earlier that the Stars reserves were weak. Tonight it shows. I never did think that Terrible Arnio was a good choice. I really can't see the Stars pulling the deficit back.

    Charles Wright fits :P

    Josh Auty

    R. Worrall and R. Wells both fit with the +5% home allowance that Lynn have.. I forgot again.   No 5% for a reserve

Charles Wright it is then :P

No !   that's not how it was described to me.   I was told,  by a high ranking BSPA individual,   because a rider would be more accustomed to riding  on his home track than a guest, it was therefore agreed all guests replacing an home rider would be granted an additional 5%  CMA to offset this advantage..      When riding an away track, a rider would not be so accustomed and therefore the 5% was not applicable.... :t:

That's how thought it went.. Looks like is the 5% away rule might of been on special offer for a day ;)

And remember, all the 5% moans are completely self inflicted. No point moaning about it when Poole had Ellis booked for the second leg. It all comes down to Allit booking Ellis for the first leg that caused the mess.

Hopefully the rules should have been changed to allow 5% home and away.

Gary may has said he can't use Wright at Lynn.. Only thing I can think of is there is no +5% away rule ! Seems that didn't last long?

Unless anyone knows another reason ?

the opportunity has presented itself for Charles to come in and do a job for us. I can't use him away but am delighted to have Paul Starke with us on Thursday
