Nothing wrong with using the joker in the last heat, it's not nominated it's a programmed heat. To be honest Crump always seems to mess up the last heat recently he hasn't done well in it for Belle Vue in the last 3-4 meetings. Great meeting, don't think it was down to the track, mainly lots of determination from the riders. I've said for a while that Australia weren't goign to do anything this year and laughed everytime the commentators said they were favourites, with Johnston and Boyce/Shields in the team they were going to struggle, especially with Sullivan who doesn't ride his home track that well. Sweden won in the end with having 3 exclusions, if Lindback can keep his head then I still think they can win on Saturday!

Lindback is riding like an idiot tonight. If Sweden are lucky and manage to get through tonight then they can't afford to risk him on Saturday. I'd get Lindgren or Ljung in.

No I'm not talking about the main floodlights, all public places should have small extra lights connected to an emergency generator that should come on when the power goes off.

Eastbourne are actually breaking the law by not having an emergency generator for lights in a public place. If anyone fell or tripped during the blackout they could have a good claim for compensation.

Nah can't stand sitting unless we have to (like at Cardiff). Have been to the stadium before for the GP Challenge in about 2001 and we like to stand on the back straight.

No when Nicholls got hit by Hancock they were coming off the bend and Nicholls had his wheels back in line, when Pedersen hit Crump it was in the middle of the bend full slide, how is someone suppose to stay on the bike when there front wheel is taken from them when they are sliding sideways?

I've noticed this over the last 2 years, nearly everytime time Crump starts off poorly and doesn't look fast enough he sorts it out and wins the GP, when he wins his first ride easily he normally goes backwards!

Not seeing much complaining after Nicki using the F world 5-6 times tonight on camera, Crump really got slagged off for using it once last year.

Webcam is still working, doesn't seem to be anyone in the stadium yet though at 17:30 their time.

How can it be a sell out when there are still tickets left!

I tried it last year just to see how many people were there before it came on SKY but it seemed to be switch off on race day.

I was one of the unlucky ones to be in Gothenburg last year for the cock up with the track, I'm definatly not risking it this year.
