Is the Torun fixture following on the same stream? -
Swc Final, Vojens, 31/07/2010

It was dreadful. Truly dreadful. Bronze is naff all. Anyone remember when Harris past a rider I think in Heat 20...the commentary from Pearson was 'aaaaaaaaaaargggggggghhhhhhhooooooooooo'. Very, very poor. Jonathan Pierce was sacked at Sky for similar efforts when commentating on football. -
Danish Grand Prix 05/06

Better than Leszno? I watched it, first GP live in ages. Impressed with Harris, his bikes weren't the quickest but he showed some maturity in his selection of lines. Hampel is finally getting the credit ge deserves after some hard work. Interestingly poised this series. -

Just looked at a picture of that. Beautiful place for motorsport. -
So can we have one of your U21 allocated spots please?

Or Milton Keynes holding World Cup Football!!! -
The same ad was in the paper today....the offer applies for December and January.

They were advertised on our local paper from East Mids at £2.99 (how handy for a E-Liga meeting).

South African Grand Prix
Hazzman replied to Chewbacca's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Agreed but some reason FIM/IMG have been insistent on using the same shale on repeat occasions for temporary tracks as seen by the farcical German GP. The political problem is you'd only see it working in the white percentage cities of South Africa which stadiums have uses for after the World Cup. It's mainly the venues positioned within a hour of Johnnesburg which are struggling to find a use after the competition. -
South African Grand Prix

Complete non-runner. The cost in shipping down a temporary track (with no assurance of the material not getting wet ) would be far too much. -
Bydgoszcz Gp And Torun Play Off
Hazzman replied to bruno's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Seen that the other night, absolutely bucketing it down with Snow. Very rare to see Sport played in those conditions in the past ten years. First heat tomorrow night....ding dong! -
What about the 8.15 start or in Heat 2 where every rider went back to the pits as opposed to the mechanics bringing fuel to them.

So how come Peterborough held a FIM event this season? One of the worst meetings I've had the pleasure of attending. Delays albeit some explainable but there were points where everyone just stood there, there was no need for a delay at all. Thankfully, it was slightly liven up by Zetterstrom's fairytail with a deserved gritty performance after two awful knocks. On top of it all despite the prestige of the meeting etc., Coventry still ran the tired presentation package from 1975. I don't think there was one song played which is currently in Top 40 and then we had Elton John and Chumbwumba on multiple times after crashes....beautifully original.

Grand Prix Challenge.
Hazzman replied to a4poster's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
90 minutes of action or 25 minutes of action. Or alteratively 25 pounds for a 15 year old or 13 pounds for a 15 year old. Or maybe even 3 pound for a programme as opposed to a fiver. The price is over the top evidently. What's the attraction for the average Cov fans of going this meeting as opposed to a normal league meeting, I don't think there's a rider in the field who hasn't rode at least once in the past 18 months at Brandon, little difference than a league meeting plus the track prep and Brandon for a FIM meeting is normally awful. I am lucky I can afford it, others prefer not to get ripped off. -
Grand Prix Challenge.
Hazzman replied to a4poster's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Stop talking carp. It's expensive and for a family of 4 too much. People are boycotting in disagreement with that and proving their point to the club. There's a time when enough's enough. Simply people can save the tenner difference and use it somewhere more important. -

I believe it's all disappeared in Malaysia and there's no permanent track there. -
Scandinavian Gp - Saturdays Sky Coverage
Hazzman replied to OldBulldog's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Happened a couple of times at Maillia and if anything it's enhanced the racetrack. TBH, I've completely lost interest the GPs. Watched 8 heats of Daugavpils and left it. Didn't even bother yesterday evening. Both times I've not missed out. -
Polish League Sunday 26th July
Hazzman replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
Again another corker from Bydgoszcz. If I was to have another life, I wish I was born in Bydgoszcz to watch that every week. It would make going back to work on Monday so much easier. -

Isn't that the second time Zabik's been in a nasty incident with Balinski? I can think of three awful crashes Karol's had in the past few years. Speedy recovery to the pair. -
Thoughts On Tai Woffenden Wearing An Aussie Shirt In The Pits

What about the likes of Mark Viduka and Christian Vieri who openly support their dual countries but play for just one of them? -
Thoughts On Tai Woffenden Wearing An Aussie Shirt In The Pits

Or any different to young English lad wearing a Brazil or Dutch football national shirt. To work in the pits/have creditation, you have to wear the official 'suit' so to speak. -

I know that, I was just arguing with Parsons. All-Ireland Rugby team for example.
