  1. Agree Grachan. Would be worth half of entrance fee.
  2. Be weary also because Torun are currently building a new stadium which has taken further delays due to the weather across Europe - it was scheduled to be opened for this season. I understand their old/current stadium's track no longer exists.
  3. They release them late to avoid them getting lost in the post and then sold on the black market. Avoids duplicates being produced as well.
  4. They get pass Wroclaw. And Torun. And maybe Zielona Gora
  5. Touching Cloth? But that's a small percentage of the support, it's the same for footy fans with 3pm kick-offs.
  6. Is it down to:- i) TV demands or ii) the Polish League has a round the next day or iii) they've actually thought about fans when it comes to travelling and hotel rooms?
  7. No-one as of yet! Gdansk and Wroclaw have reported to have spoken to him.
  8. TBF, it's not stopped Zielona Gora still having a red-hot atmosphere. Czestochowa, Z.Gora and Gorzow have all had refurbs or new stadiums built recently. Also Ostrow in Liga 1 have done the same. It's like history repeating itself with the Premier League and English football....the same is happening to E-Liga and Polish Speedway.
  9. I am looking into the feasibility of a visit during Easter when Uni's off. Not a weak fixture now Gdansk and Bydgoszcz are back amongst the big boys.
  10. We know that much but I wouldn't doubt for a minute that once they plumped for Emil, they thought about the opportunity to host a GP in Russia 2009.
  11. Vojens? Lunacy, BSI/IMG shoot themselves in the foot again. IMG Thought Process a) they wanted Australia, no-one wanted it there they wanted Russia, it wasn't workable c) Germany has gone wrong d) Right then Olly where else can we hold this extra GP?
  12. Local Bydgoszcz brew,. You should try it sometime.
  13. 1. Nicki 2. Andersen 3. Crump 4. Jonsson 5. Hancock 6. Gollob 7. Adams 8. King Emil 9. Nicholls 10. Holta 11. Lindgren 12. Bjerre 13. Walasek 14. Harris 15. Ulamek
  14. I think Andersen personally can reach him. He's shown glimpses this season of it but he's needs a good start to the season and he can do it.
  15. No, there's enough threat in the pack to stop him.
  16. So that rider who gave up in tonight's meeting once he'd lost the Championship and then re-awoke his effort in the Super Prix. Isn't a bad loser?
  17. He's only popping down to his local track in the same way British speedway fans do at their clubs and feed the mouth of greed with a dodgy promoter.
  18. Interesting to see how young Janowski gets around a very small track.
  19. They had an idea of the problem on Friday...so they could have moved to such a track for today.
  20. I know what ya mean and hopefully you understand what I am about to say, you know. The stadium was built with football in mind and it's always had a removeable pitch. It's a thinly-built stadium so I don't think there's much room to make wide unless they made the corner entries like extremely angle. I am sure there's a FIM standard white line distance too. If you look at the pics at the very start, they have built the track right up against the start of the seating plus the air fence to come. I think looking through them, I understand what ya mean. They could have gone more in the middle. You know?
  21. Because it was built for football, I don't think there's room in the stadium 'playing area' to make it wider.
