  1. Your favourite Gomolski will do..... Seriously how about some like Mroczka or Brzozowski or even Kajzer from Liga I? Maybe Pawalaszczyk from ROW?!? I'd like to see Polonia target Kolodziej but he's part of the club at Tarnow, so unlikely.
  2. I am not. He's a Jawa factory rider and it gives him a chance for a competitive practice.
  3. That would be good. Currently wearing my Hrvastka football top at this moment in time.
  4. Personally I reckon the Top Six should be seeded, 7th to 12th in the GP Challenge along with 10 riders who came through the qualification rounds (the Top Six qualifying from that) and then 3 wild cards (which can not be riders who were given the second chance of the GP Challenge but riders who missed 2+ GPs due to injury may be available for selection). As mentioned though system like this would probably see the GP Challenge held on ice in the winter. According to the same Polish magazine, Togliatti is due a Grand Prix in 2010.
  5. Simon Stead and David Howe signed four-year deals today reports SportoweFakty..........
  6. Similar to Emiliano Sanchez's situation then. He had the same fate and recovered within six months to be back on a Speedway bike.
  7. You can have your spleen removed with no danger to your life. Emiliano Sanchez, the rider at Scunthorpe recently did. However, it does make your immune system weak meaning it becomes more difficult to shake off infections and colds. Looks Polonia might be on Setanta at this rate!!
  8. What about Moto GP or Formula 1? Or the restricted places in qualifying for the Cricket or Rugby League World Cup?
  9. Iversen deserves a second chance. Clearly yesterday suffering from his injury in his gating, fighting on an ultra slick track and to get pass riders. Fair play to the three guys who qualified - but I'd say it could do them more harm than good. By my reckoning, we'll still have Iversen, Harris and Lindgren return as wild cards.
  10. Brill! Ulamek and Walasek in the GP 2009. The circus becomes more and more like a library.
  11. God help us! Ulamek and Walasek lining up in the Grand Prix's!! Zagar's had to earn his bread so far.
  12. Iversen just woke the meeting up. Excellent hard work there
  13. That's the meeting from a week previously. My video player seems dead If anyone struggles on Ballinger's link, be patient and give it a few minutes. It will come alive!!
  14. Free. ITVp is a free to air station - a bit like the known BBC.
  15. Interestingly, in the Speedway history books it will also have. Tomasz Gollob Grand Prix Wins 13 Scott Nicholls Grand Prix Wins 0 and.....in other FIM events Tomasz Gollob World Cup Winner 3 Scott Nicholls World Cup Winner 0
  16. Always try the Chemik. http://www.metalko.com.pl/angielska/oferta/oferta.shtml Typical that the hotel's website includes details of the massive chemical plant nearby. I swear the plant is a FBI base. It's about 4 miles out of town though and through the equilvent of Harlem. But it's what we used thanks to an extreme mess up by Hotel Sporting.
  17. People seem to be forgotting Bomber's podium finish at Wroclaw last season.....so he can't be a one-show pony.
  18. Might be now, Mr.Hammarby has put his hand in his pocket.....
  19. Not really. Woffinden's choice was clever. A bigger pool of sponsors, a near assured GP spot when he's ready, SWC captain and when he has a poor night in that he'll be better than most, Sky's GB golden boy. If Woffinden chose Aussie, he'd always have Holder or Batchelor or many other promising roo's to compete against for them spots. He's a wise head on young shoulders. I don't think it's professionalism, it's desire and the attitude.
  20. Kolodziej's battled hard in a doomed team and has seen little reward this season. Although he's struggled in the second half of the campaign. However his Swedish team have benefitted off his fine form.
  21. Proved himself at Dackarna last night - 10+1
  22. I am aware of the alliances hooligans make in Poland. Thanks for explaining the trouble on Sunday.
  23. It's a 'derby day' which Torun fans like to remind Bydgoszcz of. Upon Polonia's relegation, Torun fans sung 'your derby is with Grudziadz, your derby is with Grudziadz'. GTZ Grudziadz are of course the Liga I strugglers. Torun I think proudly boast an incredible record in the top division. I say this with extreme caution, I don't think they have ever rode in the second tier of Polish Speedway.
