  1. It is all over the clubs social media they usually don’t put the preview out on the clubs website til about 24 hours before

    Scunthorpe 2024

Because if the last digit is 5 or higher you round up

    Scunthorpe 2024

2.5 percent of 3.00 is 0.075 rounded up to 0.08 means he’s 2.92 do you seriously think the other promoters would allow this if it wasn’t the correct way of working it out

If you look at their averages in all home league meetings last year Jake Allen averaged 7.79, Pam Toft averaged 9.18 and Lambert averaged 7.24 so I don’t think this is an absurd claim as you think. Importantly what I would say this is in home meetings. Not forgetting Kyle Howarth who averaged 7.74 home and away for Plymouth last year riding on a home track he supposedly didn’t like!

I’m personally happy with that team it will take a very good team to beat that top 5 round the EWR you’ve got to think Ablitt and Harrison will progress and improve their average as well

    Workington 2024

Are you on about Jordan Palin he’s recently announced his retirement ?

    Scunthorpe 2024

Suppose the average we are referring to is for team building purposes and not that actual average hence being allowed to go below 3.00 again. On the scunny website it’s 2.92 so would expect that to be right

    Scunthorpe 2024

Oh right yeah that means it will be Palm Toft and mountain then
  9. Ryan555

    Scunthorpe 2024

I make Ablitt 2.93 because 97.5 percent of 3.00 is 2.925 which means it rounds up to 2.93?

    Plymouth Gladiators 2024

I think it’s worded wrongly because if Hook is at reserve how can Thompson be in the main body when he has a lower average than Hook

    Scuntffield 2024

Positive start to team building with Ace and Stene Pijper just announced

    Scuntffield 2024

Thinking of some early rider options from the Scunthorpe point of view - Ryan Kinsley, Luke Harrison, Nathan Ablitt

    Scunthorpe 2024

Sad to see Jordan Palin has confirmed he’s retired from the sport.

Really pleased to have super si back

    Scunthorpe 2024

Upon reading the article about David Howe becoming team manager it seems to have put to bed the idea of the scorpions in the premiership given it says David is still helping Ryan Douglas in the premiership and so his Friday nights are free for us in the championship

    Scunthorpe 2024

I find it hard to believe scunny can afford it being a regular fan seeing the attendances week in week out

    Scunthorpe 2024

Having seen the ‘Scunthorpe Stags 2024’ page on British speedway i am a certainly surprised. Will it maybe be a some kind of second half thing all clubs have to do in place of the national league?

    Scunthorpe 2024

A team that would add up to below 38 points if I’ve got a the correct averages and applied the correct reductions 1) Steve Worrall 2) Drew Kemp 3) Simon Lambert 4) Connor Mountain 5) Jake Allen 6) Zaine Kennedy 7) Luke Harrison
  19. Up the scorpions super si leading from the front ! What a night !

    Maybe one but not both

    Scunthorpe 2024

Exactly my thought I know at the press and practice he sort of jokingly said it would be last season but with him not having a great season in the premiership i think he may rethink that idea
  22. He came out on the centre green and did an interview to the fans
  23. He never said “upgrading” he said he won’t be riding championship as he has options in the second and third polish divisions and in Sweden
  24. Looking at the confirmed NDL riders championship lineup both Ablitt and Joe Thompson are missing so looks like the KO cup final has taken priority.

KOC SF: Scunny v Redcar 29.09

Simons usual celebration is to keep going on a 5th lap and so Connor Bailey just kept going. As for Rob off the mic. This started in play off meeting at home to Poole because Rob was team manager however last night Dave peet was back so I’m not sure. Personally I think the guy is pretty slick and if I’m not mistaken it seems like the guy was stand in team manager last year ?? Maybe someone can confirm
