I thought you would like to see him back as a Stars rider ? Cant see that, and him having a good season as compatible.
-
Good to see Mads fixed. It would appear he didnt have to many opitions open to him the way teams were filling up. Its about time we had our own secret agent. Having read Mads would love to finish at Lynn, next season might be the perfect opportunity for him to work on his average for 2015.
-
I always thought Vasey was his own man and no ones puppet. As Team Manager he surely would be involved in team selections, changes etc. Fact is he managed a team that finished rock bottom. How many teams in any sport would keep a Manager on after a season like 2013
-
Like you say a few of the top boys have said they won't do Britain , but NKI is not one of them, thus far. I think he will be there. Last year was the best for him in Speedway terms. As they say if it ain't broken etc
-
What average is Kenni Larsen on ? and I seem to recall he went well around Saddlebow last season. Worth a mention
-
Screamer he might not be good enough to play with the big boys at the start of the season, but I would suggest come the end of the season he will have some notable scalps to his name. After all The League isn't won until the last 2 meetings of the season.

If Buster and Rob see fit to leave Mads out, then you have to back that. Maybe Rosco wants him back and gets first dibs on him
-
Who was it said you win nothing with kids. Watch this space. I wonder what odds I could get on a Belle Vue Kings Lynn play off final ?
-
That Malc Vasey must have the a rabbits foot, 4 leaf Clover, Horse shoe etc tucked under his cap, to have kept his job. Since he joined he has taken them from respectable mid table Premier League side to a rock Bottom National League side. Poor Old Martin Jol wasnt even bottom and he got the order of the tin tack.
-
Looks a hit or Miss team to me. Lets hope for all those Suffolk boys who have been straved of success in both Football and Speedway terms that it is more hit than miss.. Play-offs then another disappointing end For the Ipswich Nearly men.
-
15 minutes Speedway for Lynn won't make the difference. Anyway think of all that study time he will have on those long road trips to the Fatherland
-
If Lambert doesn't sign for Lynn and goes elsewhere when he is 16, does he then becomes elsewheres asset ? If so can't see Buster letting circa 30k slip through his fingers, not all 12 of them anyway
-
They don't do exams at nights

Of course there will be teething problems with this new idea, isnt there always. I assume this rule has been brought in for the meduim to long term in British Speedway, it is not going to work overnight. Ok, you will always get the odd rider that doesnt fit, you will also get the odd rider who more than fits and indeed excells. The question is, is it a price worth paying. For me its 100% YES
-
If British Speedway cannot afford the big boys riding over here, then yes, for me, that is the way to go. The Premier League is good quaility, as was proven by the likes of Cook, Worral, Barker, Doyle, and a good few others who doubled up last season. The problem c ould be with a self governing sport, as Speedway is, can anyone really see Promotion and relegation being permitted ? Note Sorry Belle Vue fans I have taken this thread miles of track... I will leave it there

Where in my post did I say they would get close, I said the gap is closer now that ever before or do you disagree with that ?
-
So With No Freddie an no Holder, that's just so far, it's not a watered down League. ? Not to mention 2 National League riders in the 1-7. Throw in the ever increasing R/R. The gap between the 2 Leagues has never been so close.
-
In a watered down League Cook will hit 9 Nicholls 8 and Worral 7.5. That's a hellva foundation the Aces management have put down
-
Whoever Buster goes with, I just want to see the same 7 riders each week, without hearing this rider or that rider is riding somewhere else on a Wednesday night
-
With Worral and Cook ( Hopefully) signed up the Aces have starting poing of a very usefull team. Now if they can add 3 more of that kind of quaility I fully expect to see them in a comfortable play-off place. Aces to be the team for 14, hows that for an early predication.

Tress both B grades or which one would you class as a C ?
-
I assume it will an A+C or a B+B So that's 5 As 10 Bs and 5Cs. Can see there being issues on this and riders being fitted in rather than being given a fair grading. Kerr could be one of these problem riders. A defo A on his Prem League but don't think he was in the top 5 riders in The National League. So can see him getting fitted into level where there is a gap.

Who do we fancy in the Reserve department. My money is on Lambert and Rose. Who would others fancy ?
-
I wonder what Chris will think to this team ? He normally has it sussed out
-
With heats 2, 8 and 14, and one other seemingly earmarked as Reserves and lesser 2nd strings only, It would suggest that the top boys could be meeting each other a bit more. With the likes of Ward and Tai in the League, I feel we would need to go with a big hitter at number one, to match this type of rider. I see no reason why NKI wont be back. Joining The Stars seems to have coincided with his rise up to the next level ( the very top), so why would he not want to continue with us. After all if it aint broke why try and fix it.
