  2. Well, Hazzman, I already have 43 definites for the 49 seater bus and another 3 enquired this morning, so it doesn't take a genius to work out that at some point very soon I'm going to have to put the 'Bus Full' sign up. I hope there is still time to book me in. regards PolskiZuzel

Indeed...May I offer, on behalf of all people involved in Polish speedway, heartfelt condolences to Kenny's family and friends. RIP PolskiZuzel

    Sky Coverage

Yes! You are 100% right. The pictures come from the local crew, and the commentary from the given channel studios.

    Astra Satellite

I also watched German Eurosport on that evening, but will disagree with you on Barth. He kept saying that the event was coming live from Warsaw, and instead Ulamek kept saying ULMANEK :-)

    Hans Andersen

It was rare indeed. In the 70s only Tony Svab (sr) - father of Tony jr (former Ipswich rider, and Milan Spinka managed to break Soviet monopoly. 1970 Nassjö S - Antonin Svab Czechoslovakia 1971 Inzell D - Gabdraham Kadyrow Soviet Union 1972 Nassjö S - Gabdraham Kadyrow Soviet Union 1973 Inzell D - Gabdraham Kadyrow Soviet Union 1974 Nassjö S - Milan Spinka Czechoslovakia 1975 Moscow SU - Sergei Tarabanko Soviet Union 1976 Assen NL - Sergei Tarabanko Soviet Union 1977 Inzell D - Sergei Tarabanko Soviet Union 1978 Assen NL - Sergei Tarabanko Soviet Union 1979 Inzell D - Anatolii Bondarenko Soviet Union

    Hans Andersen

Yes, you right. Milan Spinka used to ride for Swindon in 1980. Here is an excerpt from Swindon's website: (...) Swindon were a real Jekyll and Hyde team, managing to win no less than five league matches away from home, but to offset that, they lost three and drew two meetings at Blunsdon! Once ‘Crumpie’ had returned, he backed Scott Autrey all way, averaging 9.41, but the Robins lacked a third heat-leader as the final averages of the other most used team members proved: Steve Gresham (7.40), Bob Kilby (7.23), Milan Spinka (6.46), Steen Mastrup (5.49) and Malcolm Holloway (4.93) (...)

    They Blew It!

I see your point Subedei, but remember it was SWC NOT SGP. What matters in SWC is your team, NOT your personal glory. I wonder what would you say if Crump's charge on Andersen would cost YOUR team the silver medal, which after all was in his pocket had he stay behind Andersen.

    Travelling To Reading ?

Thanks for advice Mateusz. See you and Rico tonight, hopefully.
  11. Hi Mariusz, what are you doing in Bristol ? I would be more than willing to pick you up, but I 'm travelling from Ipswich and that is an opposite direction. Up the Poles !
  12. It looks like my mate gone on holidays and I will have an empty seat(s) in my car for tomorrow's trip to Reading. If anyone need a lift from the Ipswich area then send me an e-mail.

    Ekstraliga 15 July 2006

You say you are NOT biased. OK then, I'll give you opinion found on other forum and it is from Stein who lives in Norway and who actually know Tarnow track. (...) The Tarnow riders are soooo used to their hometrack, which in my view much be one of the slickest tracks in the world, and it is always prepared for the home-team. No wonder Rzeszow track staff made the track a bit more tricky when Tarnow came there, and since both Nicki Pedersen and Rune Holta likes tracks with more grip why shouldn`t the Rzeszow track-staff make the track suitable for their home riders? I went to Tarnow two weeks ago, and as I said earlier; when THAT track gets slick it is slick out of this world. During the first practice session in the morning before the Grand Prix qualifier the best riders were doing around 17.0 second laps. After the first grading and watering the same riders were doing 18.0 second laps (...)

You're welcome I think you are right. When I first opened your link it came up in Polish so to help our English speaking friends I found an alternative "English" button. When I tried your link just now it opened in English :-) Funny how things are, aren't they. Ps. see you at Reading (perhaps ?)

I agree with you here. Fans should loosen up, but most of all clubs' official should pay on time and avoid financial commitments if the money isn't in their pockets.

I think you're mistaken. The event is run by the BSI.

    Swc Event 1 - Rybnik

Neither do I. But to be honest, Australia were always the biggest threat. Britain surprised me a lot, especially Lee Richardson (1,2,2,3,2) 10, Simon Stead (3,2,2,1,1) 9 and Chris Harris (3,2,1,1,2) 9 Bring on Kolodziej !!!
