Nl Riders Championship - Rye House 21st September.

Apart from Robert Lambert who is not old enough, which riders in the field have not ridden at Premier League level this year? The only one I can name is the winner Steve Boxall. I remember a NLRC championship when the123 all came from the 1st heat. I think Benji Compton won that year. 2 sides to every argument I suppose, watched Jason Garrity earlier in the season at Wolverhampton in the Under 21 blitz the field in the 20 heats only for Branford (who scrapped into semi final) to beat him in the final. Branford got a Prem reserve place out of that 1 meeting. Morris went through the card the previous night in the Under 19 only for Nielson to win the final. Olly Allen wouldn't have won the PLRC using NLRC formula but then at start everyone knew the rules and knew top six was the 1st target to get to. Going of subject a touch but in the Grand Prix you only have to get through to the top 8 to qualify for a semi and then the chance of winning that Grand Prix. -
Not many if any in the last 3 yrs.

I think Steves experience won him it at the end. Good gate clamping Lewis to the kerb who picked up grip caught Steve and fell. Took it very well, very good sportsmanship between him and Steve. Credit to him, some prima donnas riders would have thrown their toys out the pram. Mind you Boxall would be the last rider I would want to pick a fight with.

He did very well at Rye last night runner up to Boxall in a run off for 1st place after Lewis and Steve both finished with 14pts. Has been called up by Swindon for the Elite play offs replacing the injured Ashley Birks. Good luck to him

He blatantly slowed down to let Blackbird through, the extra point robbed Lambert of a run off with Blackbird for third place. -

I see on the Wolves site Olly Allen scored nil pts. Did he get injured again? -
Is Charles still allowed to ride for Buxton now that he has signed Somerset. Simon Lambert was stopped last year riding for Stoke when he went to Rye.
-
Do you know what it changed up from Jayne? It always did seem daft last year when Lambert was told he had to choose between Rye and Stoke I believe. Especially when you consider the likes of Barker, Doyle and Cook can double up to the Elite even with averages of over 8

Confirmed on BSPA website Thurs 29th. -
Is Charles Wright still allowed to double up with Buxton? Last year Lambert had to drop out of the Stoke team when he joined Rye House.

Looks a very good line up. Never seen Lambert in a competitive race at Rye and will be interesting to see how he goes. If as in previous years it is a straight 20 heat format, maybe Lambert will have to be on the pace from the off. A top 6 through to race off then final would probably suit him, with more time to suss out the track. -
not too bothered what the limit is, as long as we use up all the pts available. i was not impressed by Lens comment at the start of the season where he said that he didn't look at the averages.Simons Lamberts inclusion this season with about 1.5 pts spare was not right. Hope Len gets it right next year.

Along way out with melgren and Aspgren averages Allen 8.77 Melgren 7.13 Aspgren 7.04 Nelson 5.99 Bunyan 5.73 Garrity 5.35 Total 40.01 Would love to have Robert Lambert in next year but just can't see him riding a Saturday track. Boxall could return but on what average?

How about Robert Lambert ? Joking really. Steve Worrall or Joe Jacobs probably the more obvious choices. -
If he rides them yes. If he doesn't he will get a converted elite average. Which is higher than his rolling prem average.
-
I think it takes 6 league matches to get an average this year. So with Berwick having 6 left to ride. If he completes all 6 he will qualify as having a Prem average for this season.
-
If Jason is unfit. Would we still have to operate with a NL substitute?. Normally you are allowed a guest for your top reserve,
-
According to Rye press release on main website Garrity is back for Rye next Saturday against Ipswich at reserve in the new averages. Does this mean that Pontus has done enough meetings for his average to rise, as at the moment it shows less than Jason's. Pontus 5.25 Jason 5.35

Rye House V Leicester Saturday 10.08.13

Who else could we pick. Will only get 3 rides I presume, hope he can pick up a couple of points. Perhaps he would be better off at 2,3 or4 !!!!! -

Rye would be better off using R/R. Aspgren flying at the moment. I believe we have to use a NL guest as Rye House re declared their 1-7 with Garrity in it to fit Aspgren in when Lambert was dropped. Until Garrity rides or we redeclare again Garrity will have to be replaced by a NL rider. I suppose the reason behind all this is stop teams manipulating the rules by declaring an injured rider then using R/R to cover him all the time. A decent reserve can make all the difference. Hope that helps to clarify the situation. Hope i'm right in what i have said. -

Think it's been opened once this year. I think it was because of a big meeting at the Rye kart way stadium. Some speedway people use the Kart stadium to park and enter via pit entrance, mind the big hole in the car park entrance when you come in. Ok when it's dry as you can see it, but after rain it just looks like a puddle. Perhaps Lens filled in now after Shadders damaged his car wheel in it. -
with Rye only allowed to use a NL rider to cover for Garrity, Ben becomes the obvious choice, even though he will struggle being in the main body of the team. Probably only get 3 rides. Strange situation for Ben in that if he does too well for Kent and ups his average too much he will be unable to do such bookings.
