Remember when Tom Armstrong got sent home to Australia by Scunthorpe after only 3 matches. Not saying it's right, but it has happened before. Think they did the same with Jedd List.

Tom Armstrong didn't get sent home he had a huge crash in his first home meeting hitting the fence just before the start line . If memory serves me right the primary chain snapped sending him in . Jedd was replaced by Danny Ayers and had several other offers but chose not to take them at the time he has hardly ridden since

Correct, and why could this meeting not gone ahead at either 1 or 3 pm,,would have been done and dusted by then.i know hindsight is a good thing but just saying.Or call the meeting off after the initial downpour.

Local football team playing at home so a no brainer not to go head to head with them lots of football fans came after as it's a 10 minute drive

"Interesting" that they've put Celina L at number 7.  Sam might struggle at 6 against the "better" reserves, but we'll see.  Fascinating season ahead across on the West coast.  Hope I can get across there at some point during the season.

After heat 2 it's irrelevant what number the reserves are at as they get swapped around more than a Kate Middleton photo

That’s just splitting hairs, everyone knew what was happening, whoever binman is says it all it’s going to stop clubs from going down the route of using unattached riders unless they have absolutely no choice and when you think there’s only 10 fixtures reserve riders will jump at extra laps

But that's the point  mate previous rules gave them no choice and riders who were nowhere near the level required were getting rides . They have that choice so it's up to them who they pick .

Because he was flying in youth series and everyone was talking about him, and the teams had no choice now it’s the other way round, teams won’t take a chance they will just cherry pick, regardless, look at who’s been picked and it’s blatant who you know and who might do you a job rather than they might be okay with a run of rides

Agree mate at the time he was going ok in the youth series but that was on a 250 not a 500 and for point of clarity he hadn't raced a 500 competitively till he rode at Berwick for Mildenhall. Also he rode as a guest at number 5 for Mildenhall in 2023 when they could have got a higher averaged rider because he was still on a 3 because he hadn't ridden at Workington.

What it does Andy as you well know because it worked for you (Luke) is that the team missing a res now can cherry pick a res from another team who is flying and yet again a rider trying to get a 1st chance like billy and others won’t be asked, stinks, and you know it, denials only add to the problem, it’s a joke, develop not stagnation, if you are missing a res for god sake who cares, put a kid in, if they are tailed off so what, at least they have had a chance and can assess themselves going forward

HOw did it work for luke mate he went in as un attached 3 pointer for Mildenhall in 2022 has never had a guest booking at national league level in the reserve berth , if anything this ruling probably would of worked against him if it was in place then . On your point of putting a kid in and who cares if he's tailed off I totally agree as I don't but plenty of fans on here will whine about it saying there not good enough.

6/7 from other teams can now guest ??

since when ? It’s always been 3.00 unmatched rider.
it’s all starting to unravel and the season hadn’t even started !

What's unraveling.? Doesn't the regulation say if average same or lower so like for like swap

Knowing the inner workings I’m guessing Luke’s CL place is subject to him competing in the NL team ??? but like you say it’s a few extra meetings.

No not at all deal for championship was complete before any mention of NDL we like every other rider believed there would be no league. when it was becoming apparent there would be a league he had other offers and chose Scunthorpe/Sheffield  as it's not a track juniors to ride very and often the majority of the meetings will be there.

It’s a development league. A 16 year old kid going to miss out cause of 0.05 of an average. Common sense for once has actually been used.

Personally think it's a brilliant decision to up the limit so max can get a team . Let's be honest none of the leagues teams would have built any different to what they did any way so it can't be a bad thing.

Spoke to an NL level rider, took part in training sessions in Poland (forget which track) said all riders were given generic numbered body colours, to keep, & there was a large central fuel supply in the pits, riders just filled their tanks as required, FOC....

Morning Martin every time we have raced in Poland it is as you describe

What is the National League Riders’ Development Series?  Is it separate from the Youth Series and if so when will we some details on where and when it will take place?

As I understand it, It is a series for NDL riders only where the top 2 available riders from each club compete along with 4 wildcards as selected by the club running the event

Rules change every 5 minutes but there was nothing to stop riders fitting a tyre at home (same manufacturer etc) getting it marked then taking the new tyre from the meeting and repeating the process. Most do fit tyres at track but not all like to scrabble around on top of a bin in the dirt etc. The whole fiasco with tyres is laughable enough anyways, there are enough available manufacturers worldwide, allow a bit of competition and finally drive the prices down not up.

In the National league you can turn up with tyre fitted but has to be approved in the championship it is supplied by the home track already marked and is fitted there
