    Ftd Reserves

I'm happy my grade of Compton was correct, (I will hold my hand up and say possibly a little low to start). The month of July after injury lay off he did 21 heats in the NL and won 2? (Not hot form against NL opposition). The dropping of the grade proved correct judgement from my part as 13 points in 29 riders for Poole (inc 7 points due to 3 finishers in heats) leave a total of 6 points scored in 29 heats. people make no comment on Simon lambert due to bad form dropping 7 places in one month or Lewis Rose due to good form climbing 10 places in one month? The rule that was made first week of May, I specifically asked the BSPA/SCB to also let the fans know of this new rule and not just Promoters and Team managers (which was not done). Benji Compton was available to every club form 29th July until 6th Aug as a replacement for any draft rider at 6/7 so if he was such an attractive signing how come no other clubs signed him in this period?
  2. His frame broke and he did not have a spare bike due to unforseen circumstances.

  10. Reality check This is fact not fiction. The world u21 semi round is in Rawicz where we UK have 2 places. Distance from London to Rawicz is approx 850 miles (approx same as London to Glasgow and back so not the other side of the world) The cost to a rider is as follows Ferry/Tunnel £80 Diesel at 30mpg £350 Licence and insurance £130 Total outlay to get to meeting £560 before people say about food hotels etc (food would be bought in UK same as if in Poland etc) Hotels are not needed (3 people in van share driving, share sleeping. drive/ do meeting/ drive home) No this is worst case scenario coming 16th place in the meeting 16th place prize money 400 euros (£336) SCB £200 help towards travel cost 2 tyres kindly sponsored by NSSC Total income for last place would be £536 (loss £24) Total income for 1st place in meeting prize money £1000 (Gain £440)
  11. 820 euros to winner 280 euros to 16th place That money includes travel, prize money hotels etc. distance would be round trip from UK 2800 miles licence for championship is 180 euros. insurance for championships 120 euros Just for reference guys.
  12. SCB rule book is one thing SCB standards are another (Standards for a 125cc speedway bike) no body has ever said full SCB requirements. Regards Phil
