LagutaRacingFan 1,935 Posted August 5, 2016 (edited) I think with Cook in the side, It would have certainly been a different story. Tungate and Josh G went unbeaten, easy task when you're not riding against the PL's number one. Edited August 5, 2016 by Morrissey Fan
Panthers89 1,922 Posted August 5, 2016 Oh do stop talking complete rubbishe. With or without cook we wouldn't of done any better, yes we might of got a few points closer but would of still lost by around 20 which picks up sweet nothing!
New era Panthers 2,055 Posted August 5, 2016 Tom Perry 0000 - Might be time to make a change, this can't continue surely... If Perry has to go so does Holub as we will need to replace our 3 pointer also Holub is crap anyway and would hardly be missed ,might as well get a national league 3pointer in.
Najjer 2,890 Posted August 5, 2016 Someone change the bloody music...its about creating an atmosphere...kinnel I'm in a time warp...the friggin Charleston and such like...its like a morgue here..feel like slitting my wrists...its that bad. Hope the racing is better... Yep - the music tonight was an absolute abortion. The presentation team was good though, very much on par with our usual guy on the centre green. If Perry has to go so does Holub as we will need to replace our 3 pointer also Holub is crap anyway and would hardly be missed ,might as well get a national league 3pointer in. If speedway races were over 2 laps Perry would of scored okay tonight but for some reason kept tailing off a couple of laps. Holub on the other hand was just awful full stop!

scoobydoo 2,254 Posted August 5, 2016 (edited) Perrys loss of form shows the problem with the #7 protected rider he did so well to achieve his average from reserve but with him moving into the 1-5 its to big a jump for them if it happens , can they drop him now as that would mean another Stokes esq type of rider having to come in , think its a case of having to stick it out now and there a victim of his early season success at reserve . Thank God the racing was good. Enjoyed the racing...but I really do expect better entertainment fella. Nothing wrong with the announcements and information during the heats and breaks, but to nothing, apart from play some abysmal music up until 7.30 is not good enough imo. At least the bloke last week was getting in amongst the travelling fans and getting a bit of banter going. Absolute nada this week.

Decent meeting with a few good races thrown in too. Good to Brad get double figures + a sweet move to round the rest of the riders in heat 12, looked pretty pumped with it at the end of the race. Can't say much about the main body of the side who did their jobs, with wrighty a bit down on power by the looks of it. Shuttleworth was busting a gut to be fair to him, put more effort in than Holub. Edited August 5, 2016 by RH92

No surprise about the last bit of your statement Holub is stopping a chance for a National league 3 pointer being given opportunities . I wouldn't mind if he was showing signs of improvement , but he's not . Definitely a gamble that's back fired
Gresham 928 Posted August 5, 2016 BWD seemed a different rider after his nasty looking fall with Ostergard. Glad both got up unhurt. Bradders seemed to be flying in his next two races...even his bike seemed faster. He's a true racer and never gives up...glad Somerset have signed him.
