Panthers v Wolves - 2nd leg

Recommended Posts

First priority for Wolves should be to sort a strong reserve for next season, as Peterborough have shown, it's a big advantage to have.

Sounds like the show ground track of old ……. Hug the kerb ( front wheel on the grass ) was always the quickest way round. Passing for home riders only was on second bend when you rode both wheels on the grass and hoped the ref didn’t see .

Makes you wonder then how riders like Barney, Poole, Davies, Chapman, Hodgson,  F Andersen , Crump, Sullivan , Tesar, Flatman, Gooderham , R Pedersen to name a few, managed to pass on the outside in the dirt which was far faster than the inside  ,before the track was widened most visiting teams rode the inside line as it freightened them to death to go to far wide and there bikes were just not set up for such a fast track , going over the grass with the front wheel was something the home riders did use at times along the lines of Karlsson corridor is used at Monmore it was there for all to use just that home riders learnt how to execute it

I think the majority of Fans can accept the first four heats are normally gate and go, but after that point you really should see some passing. Last night we had to wait till around 11 for real action.

If Peterborough were trapping in the first 4 heats it could of been far worse for Wolves with the final margin of victory

Thought they could of given Jordan Palin a forth ride when the match was won in heat 14 , he had a good ride in heat 8 when beating Becker so he did his bit ,you could see his nerves in heat 2 missing the line into some bends and scuffing his momentum ,

Need to rip the entire team up tbh.

Cant go with the same formula they've been doing for years as it doesn't work.

Chop starts with Masters and then work down. Need riders who can perform away from home rather that average to poor performances on the road.

Build the team around Douglas & Becker imo.

Flint will be main reserve next season as all teams are to have 2 up and coming youngsters.

Awful signing if it happens because he cant ride Monmore for toffee.

Need to get someone like Mountain, Brennan or Kemp in.

He seems to be very inconsistent at the minute. Of he doesn't make the gate he's nowhere. Played his part with the paid win however

Stephen Davies as I recall used the one wheel on the grass to perfection many times.   Others did to but in my opinion he executed it the best.

Heat 2 having to move from gate 4 didn't help him as the grip was on the outside gate early on as Masters showed in heat 1 ,gates 2&3 were on the slickest part of the track as Kelvin showed with his screwdriver, if he had gated from 4 think he may of been ok and been less nervous trying to pass the Wolves guys

Ryan Sullivan and Jason Crump were good at it especially when coming out of gate 1 ,  funniest example was Kevin Jolly in the fours and the cheat calls

I honestly think the Polish champions (Wroclaw) would lose against this Panthers side.

Why do you continually embarrass your club and its supporters by posting such utter nonsense with comments like this and total bull$hit about ‘being in the know’ which you clearly aren’t?
