Jonathan Chapman and Alex Brady also seemed to know what was needed in a modern day entertainment environment... "Modern thinkers? No thank you! We don't need them"...
-
Is Jepperson carrying an injury seems to have gone off the boil a bit last few weeks ?
-
Second leg of the Jubilee cup still to be run.
-
I reckon the delayed dates are in the hope that all injured riders are fit and available again.
-
Add John Berry to the list Mike and Russell Lanning.
-
there is literal video evidence of it, doesnt matter if you were there or not weve all seen it.

Whats the title of it Bagpuss ? I am off on a cruise next week and have Simmo's book to read whilst on board I can't wait to read about his and Bill Barkers fall out, I'm pretty sure 90% of the blame would be down to Simmo but I dare say Bill will be painted as the villan.
-
He did not stamp on him you idiots stop chatting complete sh*t! I saw the whole thing I was at the meeting.
-
What Harris did was nasty and loutish. He clearly stamped on Ben after pushing him and then carving him off the bike. Disgusting. I've lost a lot of respect for Bomber now.

Will we see Speedway back at the Egg bowl
-
From what i have seen on YOUTUBE, Bomber left plenty of room for Barker,so it could be Barker said something and Bomber reacted, unlike him, but handbags at the ready. Bomber fined ,end off.

Would agree with that,he is at times.
-
Wow 10%? thats a huge percentage
-
Barker is a danger to himself 😃
-
I’ve always see Bomber as hard but fair skilled rider. But to knock someone off like that when they least expect it is digusting.Poor show IMO👎

Original fixture list had June 20th Reserved BSN FINAL August 23rg Reserved KO CUP FINAL
-
Its an odd one, thought those two got on well. Certainly out of character for Bomber. Was going to come on here and say great, we need to see more handbags but I'm not sure stamping is what we want to see. Hopefully they've sorted it out.
-
The bit about him not stamping on Barker could be true, hard to see with the camera angle, but he purposely rode into him, hard to deny that.
-
Certainly looks like it
-
Martin Rogers' book from the 1980's when he first emigrated is a fascinating read and covers Michael Lee and all the baggage which came with him really well.

Worky probably wanting their season over a bit quicker!

Plus the likes of Silver and Thomas, and probably more... These were "Promoters" who genuinely reflected the definition of the word... Rather than nowadays where "Owners" would be a much more suitable name.. The real "Promoters" knew that getting locals to attend regularly wasn't always the major priority, (if they did then great), instead fhey wanted volume every week, even if some fans only visited once... The logic being that that even that one visit meant that person knew that the sport existed, and keeping the team in the local public awareness meant more chance of more visits further down the line.. In short, the more who read about you, the more who know about you, and therefore, the more likely they are to take a look at what you do... Todays Social Media world would be seen as perfect by some of the "old school" operators of yesteryear.... (If they avoided getting banned!!!)...
