  2. It would be fair to presume that the purpose of Speedway futures is to create income for UK speedway - although it is not clear exactly which divisions/teams are the targeted beneficiaries. It’s reasonable to expect that the folk who are involved in successfully creating revenues for clubs would be entitled to receive compensation/pay for their efforts aka the CEO & his team. Don’t expect for one moment that Harry R will be joining the team gratis free. As for shareholders, they do not receive a share of the income proportionate to their shareholding. At best they receive a dividend of the profits after all costs are accounted for including the disbursements of raised funds to the clubs/leagues concerned.
  3. Today
  4. I haven't done any counting up myself, but I'm taking the word of people on here that the BSPL hold 32,000 of the 50,000 shares in this mysterious "Speedway Futures Ltd". That would appear to mean that the BSPL own 64% of the company, and these unknown people own 36%. So if these people were to sign a TV deal for £10M over 5 years, these people will be creaming off £3.6M for themselves? That's a worse deal than when Terry Russell helped himself to a cool million from the £5M Sky deal. I wonder, how much did these people pay to acquire 36% of all the sport's media income?
  5. Let's hope the meeting starts promptly and is rushed through by 9ish.
  6. With the 'official' statement today from Premiership CEO Phil Morris, does this mean 'Arry will only be working at/for Premiership clubs? OR is it really a ploy to put pressure (financial or otherwise) on his local club,Poole to move to the Prem??😉
  7. Yes put them all back in . Same old same old. Laguta and sayfutdinov are better than the 3 you’ve quoted. Woffinden brings character and interest. And who knows, may reach top levels again. Maybe not consistently but then your 3 don’t either.
  8. However, Directors “run” the business on a day to day basis not shareholders irrespective of voting rights. Since Speedway Futures was only formed last year it seems like they have spent the time since then shaping something or other. As an aside the NFL have “NFL properties” doing a similar role albeit on a scale UK speedway couldn’t hold a candle too. That said, good luck to all concerned in their endeavours to bring about a strong future for our beloved sport.
  9. Does anyone know if the S106 was signed by Fridays deadline?
  10. With the BSPA being the major shareholder with 32,000 shares and the overall control of voting rights "acquired the rights" seems to be a loose statement ?
  11. TNT production costs significantly higher than BSN maybe as much 10 times as much for play offs with additional cameras being used Not been in Leicestershire today but know when I left at 8pm last night it was very heavy rain with roads flooded
  12. See in Ipswich on Anglia sport tonight there are 3 cycle speedway tracks in East Anglia. That meeting not affected by the rain. It was also on a shale surface.
  13. They're all cool with it... go figure 🤷‍♂️
  14. As happened to Kurtz in the Czech GP. A snapped chain is part and parcel of motorsport. Those that say it cost him the chance of being world champion are being naive. How many riders have missed out on becoming world champion due to a bit of bad luck along the way!!
