If Lawson races against these two riders in separate races , that’s half his programmed rides for the meeting against higher than championship opposition. That’s all I’m trying to say . The other 5 teams in the premiership have around 3 riders who don’t double up and more than hold their own over in Poland. That’s what I mean. The championship on the other hand , different story

A golden opportunity was wasted by not using Tai to appeal to potential future supporters, the younger generation. They can relate to him definitely. I took my daughters to Belle Vue to see Great Britain in the World Cup a few years ago and he immediately grabbed their attention . They’d never been before but he stood out a mile to them. They still ask about him now. I think he could have inspired younger newcomers to the sport. Whatever he does, he’ll succeed. Definitely.
