SCB in sensible post shocker Sadly the way of the world these days seems sod the sport, as long as we are all right. Too many people fail to grasp that if the sport and other teams fail it ultimately doesnt matter one iota how many fast ones/rider availability preferences your chosen team has, you need someone to ride against and if you are not making it a level-ish competition people will get fed up and find better things to do with their time and money -

Glasgow Tigers V Berwick Bandits - 5th April - League Cup

Some cracking shots george - what type of camera are you using? I take it the shot at https://www.flickr.com/photos/glasgowtigersspeedway/16860729510/in/photostream/ was taken before the tapes were fixed! Bit of a disadvantage there for the inside gate lol -

some of us knew that when he first came over in 2010 :) -
Its all our fault Shads for trying to be helpful AFTER Manse had posted lol, how dare we! ;-) Have a safe trip up and enjoy the speedway :-)
-
Sarah Glasgow have just issued a stadium update stating that in response to constructive criticism they intend to have a pathway round to the back straight that is suitable for prams and wheelchairs by this Sunday :-)
-
I think I saw posted on facebook that they intend to tarmac round the outside of bends 1 and 2 so it will become easier to get round to the back straight Sarah but that it probably wouldnt be til a little later in the year. You shouldnt have to justify why you asked - perfectly reasonable question and thank goodness Gazc was about to give you a reasonable answer! (never thought I'd say that about Gaz )

What Are You Looking Forward To This Season?
Lioness replied to Robinh88's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
for the bit in bold to happen does he not just have to win teh opening heat (therefore ride at no 2) to do that as presumably as they say the track as been re-shaped meaning heat 1 has to be a track record -
you missed out the 'he admitted it' after the he did wrong bit as well weather watcher! he really is being seriously badly advised

Newcastle V Berwick Tyne Tweed Trophy 2nd Leg Sunday 29th March 2015
Lioness replied to dantodan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
tempted to ask why men are obsessed with being too early.... Instead I'll just say if theres something to talk about its never too early. I think you are right about Berwick looking a little suss at reserve, especially in the early part of the season, but I reckon they look pretty unbeatable at no 1. Reckon the middle order will decide this one -

I think you will find thats a whoosh for you as it wisnae me they were digging at but someone who made an accusation then tried to back out of it quicker than a Nissan Leaf round Goodwood not the one who called them out for it! Nice to see I am so much on your mind though It seems to be the same every season. I think I'd have given in by now -
Yeah thats all I can think of spinny although as I said its a few years since I dealt with it. The only way I can see it is that I was wrong in thinking that because Kozza was not injured he wouldnt get dispensation because his average was not obtained last year. I always said I felt an injured rider would get dispensation, I just didnt appreciate a rider who just didnt ride would also
-
I'm going to stick my head up here to get shot at too because I also said I had doubts about how Kozza would get a visa going by past experience (albeit a good number of years ago with football) and my interpretation of the posted rules. Looks like I was wrong and they must take into account a year out for other than injury. A good result for the Tigers and no doubt a number of people breathing a sigh of relief now its confirmed!

Rooboys Boomerang Invitational

Depends on the dog and any responsible dog owner can tell you that. I could never take mine as she would not have been happy with the noise but there are plenty dogs who go and love it - just like humans really. My favourite was a riders dog (no name being mentioned) who was obviously adored and loved it. Its one of my favourite pics - what you don't see is he 'followed' the entire race (which was more than I did a fair bit of that day as I couldnt take my eyes off him lol) -
bet you checked your spelling very closely at the end of that post

Its always an uphill slog Tourettes - thats why marketing bods get paid so much but are in jobs that are risky lol btw I meant to say i can confirm that berwick speedway does get coverage in Southern Scotland - my mate in Lockerbie tends to keep me up to date with whats happening with them and Workington as reported on their tv stations
-
errr..cost? footage of Ben barker racing would do it for me, love him or loathe him he is entertaining and you are lucky you do get tv coverage for the speedway. Is it possible or cost effective to get CDs out to the schools to hand out to the kids or local youth organisations with short exciting snippets from your own footage? Sometimes you have to look longer term rather than the short term and if you get the kids wanting to come now you could - if you treat them right - have fans for life. And they tend to want burgers
