    Ipswich v Peterborough LC

Yeah, should be good for a 10 point win.

    Birmingham v Poole Championship. 13/04/22

Even more so considering he is prob similar to that age!
  3. I don't use it for locally. I have the weather channel one on my phone. I just use BBC one for rest of UK! I always remembered BBC one was okay in the past. But obv not now by looks of it!
  4. Okay fair enough then. I obviously misunderstood the statement!
  5. As I've said my post was based on the BBC forecast which seemed to be wrong in the end. So now we know forecasts can be wrong, it is still crazy to think forecasts can still call meetings off day before or early in the morning. Luckily Sheffield listened to the right one. But good job not every club does this especially on Weds as 2 meetings would have been off which got ridden.
  6. It's a bit of a weird grudge to hang on to! Sometimes guests score well, sometimes they don't. That's why they are a gamble and why some prefer using r/r.

Plymouth v Poole KO Cup 1st leg 5/4/22

Poor Ed. Hope he can get it sorted and not too painful.

    King's Lynn v Ipswich. League Cup 7/4/22

Sorry but that does sound a bit lame to me. I'd be saying the same thing if my club did it. They do realise England is generally cold and wet in March, April, Oct. So really season May- Sept? But that never happens cos of fixture back log. So why didn't Poole rain off yesterday with 80% chance of heavy showers. Not light but heavy and they didn't even materialise!! It was really windy last night too but crowd wasn't too bad I thought. If you use that comparison it does look a bit ridiculous.
  9. Exactly, 70% chance of dry weather or more most of the day. But if there is photographic evidence of the track super wet, I'll happily hold my hands up.

    King's Lynn v Ipswich. League Cup 7/4/22

Ah yes but the chance of a wet night tonight are the same as being dry, that's the point. And then there will be fixture backlog again when weather prob even worse!!
  11. They are worse than Lynn!!! Acc to BBC 31% chance of light showers! Are the Prem clubs on a protest against riding??!!
  12. I only remember Steve and FB voicing their concerns. But really Richard was always going to hit the ground running so I never had a problem with it after the shock wore off as I thought he was at Plymouth!

    Birmingham v Poole Championship. 13/04/22

Well sounds like the track is a lot better now and sorted from the base like what happened at Poole, so should be good racing! Prediction wise I can't decide, so I'll sit on the fence and say a draw lol.
  14. We will, but this is based on full teams of course!
  15. Oh it's not that bad is it??
  16. lisa-colette

    King's Lynn v Ipswich. League Cup 7/4/22

Not anymore sorry to ruin your joke! The point was the forecast was wrong, no heavy showers which were forecast! And KL just has LIGHT rain showers forecast!!
  17. Oh I think Leicester and Glasgow will!

    Glasgow 2022

Run by pretty much the same people though? BSN might cover it, not sure which Glasgow meetings they are covering.
  19. lisa-colette

    King's Lynn v Ipswich. League Cup 7/4/22

Okay, so take Poole example then. 80% chance of rain throughout the day. The rain being showers possible heavy. But only a few showers in the morning and one at 6.30pm and still raced with no problems. But according to someone else KL have 50% chance of rain and it's off! Just as much chance it will be dry. Start calling meetings off in England for 50% chance of rain, then no one would ever ride!
  20. It was also said about Brady Kurtz when first in the Poole team and seemed to affect him. Tbh there is only one Darcy Ward, hard to copy or replicate.

    King's Lynn v Ipswich. League Cup 7/4/22

I'm glad it's not the norm in the other league, as based purely on forecasts both meetings would have been off tonight whereas they both got completed. Forecasts are often wrong in this country. If it was 80%-90% chance of heavy/persistent rain then fair enough. But 50% chance, come on.
  22. lisa-colette

    Glasgow 2022

Are they worried about it affecting the gate?
  23. Bit harsh on Hans there!! I don't think he'll thank you for saying he should retire lol. A few more seasons left in him I think! Really good night for Nathan Ablitt though who is just going to get better with every home meeting.
