Slightly disappointing, havent seen any of this any where. Hoped they would show it at Rye in the KOC final the bikes where there but no action. Seemed odd not having them race around.

Well got over the drubbing, just, we had a good day till the racing started and it just went down hill from there. Just wanted to say it was very nice chating to the Poole supporters in the queue, we were the two Brummies supporters at the front, talking to a bloke called maurice and his missus, it was all very nice and sensible, non of this stupid bickering that you get now and again. roll on monday when we beat you by 30points wont you be shocked, not to mention us. -

Information please, as we may have to queue for a while do they provide some loos outside the stadium, helpful if they do, as this would cause congestion in the lavatorys when they open the door, not too mention a lot of men and women doing silly walks trying to not wet themselves. Actully I edited this before I posted it as it was extremley rude the way I did first(and I know its spelt wrong). -
Will it be run later in the month.

Rye House V Somerset - Ko Cup Final 2nd Leg - Sunday 06th October 2013 @ 2pm
P T Preece replied to Phil Silvers's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Enjoyed that, another good afternoons entertainment, well run and Doyle came through without a problem. In the last couple of days Ive seen two well run and presented meeting at the lower level. Tomorrow I go to Poole and watch a meeting run by skytv. Its a long way from Brum and a long journey home to have to get up in the morning and go to work, they sould take a look at the PL and NL in how to run a meeting and follow suit. Well done to Somerset on winning the KOC. Come on you Brummies. -
Nl Supporters Pairs Trophy At Coventry --fri Oct 4th

A cracking meeting last night at Brandon, very good racing by these young men, a lot seem to be coming along nicly. horrible crash for Knuckey in heat 5 hope he is ok. Race of the night had to be heat 18 Greenwood and Sarjeant fighting for first place, well impressed with Halsey, Priest, Perry and Morley and a special mention for Joe Jacobs who went through the card to remain unbeaten and getting 24 pts. Nl magic, good nights entertainment 21 heats by 9.45pm, well run and presented. More please. -

How much to get in. -
Pearson always tells us that its a good crowd at wolves when they are on the Telly, as this is a one sided stadium the crowd will always look bigger and better than most clubs that 3 or 4 sided stadiums, Peterborough always looks empty when there on the box. Its a sad state of affairs in this day and age but its cheaper to sit at home and watch the speedway, with the price of fuel to get to a stadium and general costs when your in there. We know for a fact that at Perry Barr the food and drink is cheaper for the dog racing than it is for the speedway, they even have offers of two for one for the dogs. It another case of rip off britian.

Stockholm Gp September 21st
P T Preece replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Enjoyed the trip to sweden and thought it was a good GP, its been a while since I went abroad and enjoyed the whole weekend, spent a couple more nights in stockholm, its quite expensive but a great city. Worried about gollob in his fall with Wuffy, never like it when there is no movement while they lie on the deck relieved to see him moving as they put him in the ambulance. nice stadium, good view, shame Wuffy couldent quite do it, but feel confident of having another british world champ after Torun. would go again, but might try finland next year. -

Had to smile when I saw it was off. -
Porkie at wolves, yorkie any where, the couple at Leicester, does anybody remember the bloke at carmarthen he wasnt on the centre green, in the box, never had to re-fill in my programme so much in my life wanted to kill the bloke. the most annoying for me is the bloke at peterborough again not on the centre but in the box, will insisit on telling you things about the rider as he tells you the result. the best at the moment has got to be dave rowe, clear voice, tells the result as it is.

Chris Louis did some racing with Ermolenko at Birmingham for the Danny king testi a couple of weeks ago and looked good. Have you tried the grahame brothers, Alan and Andy.
