  1. Saw my self on the 3rd bend... awesome shots Steve

We're you the young looking older bloke with the long black and blonde curly straight hair.

In a number one cut. clean shaven with a moustache and beard.

Wearing Lederhosen and a Tigers/Monarchs half and half kilt and scarf combination.

If so I think I spotted you.

  2. I would love to meet some forum members in Cardiff this year. I'll be spending most of my time in The Cottage pub on St Mary's Street, so if you see me, come and say pryhawn da!

I'm easily recognisable, I'll be carrying an inflatable leek, a flask and I'll be wearing my Tai Woffinden, 'Thunder from Down Under' hoodie.

I'll look forward to seeing you!

    Are you Max Boyce

  3. Ah but had you watched Wednesday's speedway extravaganza on Sky , from God's country , you would have saw that happen twice for 5-1's :drink:

And two mighty fine displays of the long lost art they were.

Also as mentioned in an earlier post re TheFish shaking Fernando Garcia's hand after FG almost stuffed him. Proper racing with a little bit of over riding always makes for a spectacle as long as both parties understand the rules of the game

  4. Not getting into the rules I vote for Freddie finishing the season. Can't remember seeing many better heats than #6 in Prague. When he's running well he's exciting and I'm really happy to see him in the top eight. I no nothing about equipment (except dirt deflectors work well on the straits and not so much on the corners) but they mentioned Freddie promoting an engine and was very curious about that. Has speedway in general ever considered everyone using the same motors to keep the racing competitive....not in the GPS but on local levels. Here in the States they have done that in some stock car venues. Sorry for getting off topic....fascinating sport!

You must be the man with the tin opener that the authorities aren't very fond of

  5. Went to practice, all riders had track time apart from Nicki Pedersen and Antonio Lindback. I am hoping tomorrow's forecast is wrong as it's saying thunder showers for tomorrow afternoon, very warm in Prague this evening.

It's always bloody freezing at Marketa once the sun goes to beddiebyes

  6.

Now if we were talking about a thread titled 'Visiting Rider Who Hated Your Track', I'd have no hesitation in nominating Bobby Schwartz at Hackney

Exeter must have a lengthy list

    edit

I seem to remember Martin Goodwin saying in an interview that he didn't much like Peterborough but every time I saw him there he was Mr Excitement
