  1. Many thanks for letting us know, it's nice to see riders that we don't see very often anyway.
  2. Oh no!!! That's a real shame. Never mind, we're still heading south on Wed so we'll be around on Sat for the GP in the bar. Will have to try & find another meeting while we're away. Thanks for letting us know
  3. Thank you we know where that one is! I think we shall be there for the GP. We're really looking forward to our trip & will go to the Golden Sign for our speedway fix!
  4. Brilliant - thanks very much for the info. Will look for Golden Sign line up a bit nearer the time, but sounds like it could be a good meeting. BTW, what time does Golden Sign start? Thanks.
  5. Hello, We're thinking of heading to Slovenija for a holiday in a couple of weeks, so might be near Krško on the night of the Göteborg SGP. Does anyone know if anywhere shows the GP live on TV? Just wondered if there was a sports bar or somewhere that would show it. We're willing to travel! Also, we've seen a mention of the Golden Sign meeting on 6th June. Does anyone know any details please? many thanks
  6. Found this article on the local paper's website. Really did not want to find a news story like this one ......... http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sports/sports...91466-23154304/ Don't know what to say, other than hoping Craig is not as bad as is feared & best wishes to all 3 of them.
  7. Well done Jason! Paragon & I are still in Prague after the CZ golden helmet. The campsite we're on has wifi so we've listened to it on RadioWM. Not sure which one of the 5 Aussies in the top 6 wasn't an Aussie .......but wow, we heard the mtg! Wonders of modern technology!
  8. OK, thanks very much Will have another go tomorrow!
  9. ok, dumb questions time then, Can you pay for tickets with a credit card & do you collect them at the track? What info does the registration page need? Do you think this will appear in English? It says Account Details Login: Hasło: Powtórz hasło: adres email: Personal Details Imię: Nazwisko: Numer dokumentu (drop down box with Dowod osobisty, Prawo, Paszport, Inny ) Zgadzam się na przetwarzanie danych osobowych Zarejestruj Sorry I don't understand. Thanks.
  10. Hi all, Has anyone managed to book tickets on the website yet? I can get the PL page but I can't get it to select seats or find where to click to actually order any tickets. Don't know if it's me or the site! Any hints would be gratefully received, Thanks, Jools.

Hi Janey, Parken, Wroclaw & Prague tracks are very easy by trams/bus from centre. There's loads of hotels in Wroclaw & Prague. Depends how much you want to spend! DK is never cheap for accomodation. If you really want to reduce costs, options include campsites where you could hire a log cabin, or even stay in Malmo & get the train accross the bridge. Slovenija is a bit trickier - depends where you fly into (we drive everywhere coz Paragon won't fly, so we have the car). Ppl we know have flown to Zagreb & stayed there, just coming by train for the mtg. OK option but you can miss last heat / presentation if mtg overruns & you have to run for last train back! Also ppl have flown to Trieste, Gratz or Ljubljana & hired a car. The other option is staying in Krsko & getting a taxi or walking. See previous post for Latvia - it really isn't that difficult to do independently. We'll maybe see you at some GPs then!

In my opinion, Latvia is NOT hard to get to. We drove to Daugavpils, but also had family who flew out. You can fly Ryan Air to Riga, get the airport bus into town (20p) & a train to Daugavpils for around £5. Easy. The road between Riga & Daugavpils is good & is a bit quicker than the train if you want to drive. Beware of cops with speed traps - don't do anything you shouldn't & you'll be ok You can get a ferry to Latvia from Sweden or Germany & even fly into Kaunas in Lithuania - have a day in Villnius & then head up to Daugavpils which isn't far away. Plenty of English menu food in Daugavpils & the stadium had very good facilities. NB. If you want to take your own car, check the green card options with your insurers. It will auto cover 3rd party as they are in EU, but we couldn't get fully comp with Direct Line. You can't upgrade on the border as you'd end up double insured which is illegal. I don't know if other companies offer LV & LT. Not too concerned as plenty of guarded parking available & public transprt is clean, cheap & efficient.
  13. Jagus isn't a waster. However, for Jagus & Chris Harris to live with the competiton, they both need big money sponsors.
  14. Yes, especially as he finished 4th in the qualifiers & JP stated how Harris was 5th. It's all demographics! BTW, can they really justify having 2 Swedish GPs with just 2 riders in the series now?
