Today`s Speedway star advert lists the band as Killer Queen-iv`e seen them and they are really good. The punters wont be dissapointed.
-
If you genuinely thought that was atrocious and unprofessional well I think the problem lies with you not them.Just what do you expect? They're working for Sky who expect a certain style of commentary. You have the right not to like the style but to accuse them of being unprofessional is absolutely out of order.
Rob McCaffery.
Well said that man

no offence mate but care to use this thread maybe ?http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/ind...showtopic=48021
No offence taken-but this thread is about who`s going, some of us have a lot further to travel than you !

Iwill be on the Ryanair flight on sat am from Stanstead.Anyone else off to Sweden ? lets hope the Swedish track staff completely ignore Ole Olsen ! !
-
As Danny King has just been excluded from heat 8 there should be provision for an excluded rider to go off 15 metres backAs the 15m rider has to go off gate 4 it would not be possible because it would muck up the programmed gates of the others
-
no i checked both soccer-live and myp2p.eu but no streams were listed.Shame last heat decider ended in drawn match 48-48
-
is there anywhere we can watch this live?????I think were out of luck tonite, the polish site i use lists the match but no streams available
-
Good home win for Gdansk over Leszno today-they certainly needed it !
-
Would you give him another ride after scoring 0 in his first, because I wouldn't.So far, Iversen in 4 matches, and 15 races, scored only 16pts.
Enough is enough !
I think i would have given him one more-as he said in his interview "why bring me all this way to give me one ride "
-
Another quality 2 hrs of speedway along with a brilliant sopcast picture.Torun won 52-38 for the home team Miedzinski was flying closely followed by Holder and Sullivan.Niels K Iversen was well annoyed to only be given one ride(last) by the Zielona Gora manager.
-
Torun vs Zielona Góra for sure will be in TV at 16:00 CETYes def on tv and the internet start time 3pm our time.
-
Torun v Zielona Gora and Gdansk v Leszno are now on Sunday 17th May.does anyone know if either is being televised ?

In my original letter to the organisers I have asked the first tand second questions, any reply will be posted. Whilst I can understand him (olsen) being in charge of the temporary tracks, I can't see the benefit of him dictating how other tracks should be prepared. I can only think of the Fiasco in Sweden when the track was unrideable, but from memory that was also a temporary track was it not?SVEMO(swedish authorities)prepared the track that year.If the local track people are given the job of preparing the racetracks on the permanent tracks, why do they prepare them far slicker than for other meetings at those tracks ?
-
Just to enlighten you all. I recieved a reply from Harry Horsley today, he thanked me for my comments and has passed my letter on to the relevant parties. However, He did inform that the track prep was the responsibility of the FIM. Therefore could we all be being a bit harsh om Olsen? He may after all be only following someone else's wishes. I don't know. If I get a further response I will let you know. However as pointed out by ' The Know' in an earlier reply, Harry Horsley is not the man to get in touch with. If I get a point of contact I will pass it on and each individual can pass on their own feelings, no doubt in a courteous manner.Regards Ole Olsen his full title is FIM race director SGP and SWC.He might also be employed by BSI/IMG to build the temporary tracks at Copenhagen and Cardiff.I think its time several points are clarified by the authorities
1 Who is ultimately responsible for track conditions at every GP(does this vary from temporary tracks to permanent ones)
2 depending on the previous answer what input do BSI have on track prep.
3 what input does the FIM jury president(the meeting is under his control)have on track conditions.
4 Do the riders have any input into track conditions either pre-season or before each GP.
If we could get the answers to these questions we all might have a better understanding of how things operate at GP level.
-
So how long is that line of people likely to be??? !!!It`s certainly not getting any shorter ! !
-
Could you remind me of that decent racing?I was also there and whilst we knew it wasnt the best GP it also wasnt the worst-the atmosphere created by the Polish fans(must have been 98% Poles)was terrific and certainly helped make up the entertainment package.
-
I get the sane response. However why don't we all e mail the Head of IMG Motrsports and let him know what we think. In a constructive manner of course!! Will be interesting to see if we get a response.harry.horsley@imgworld.com
my thoughts have been sent, including the fact you can't e mail the Speedway GP Site.
Correct person to contact is Head of Motorsports-Rob Armstrong at rob.armstrong@imgworld.com
I would like to think that no one would send anything abusive.
