    Birmingham Brummies 2015

I see that the Brummies have signed a new centre green presenter bringing snide remarks from Pearson on his Twitter page.Thought he would have learned his lesson to keep his mouth shut after his past bad mouthing on the Brummies front in the last two seasons. If he's involved at Perry Barr, which no doubt he will be with the Heathens,God help the new promotion!

    Swindon 2015

congratulations to Colin Pratt on his move to Swindon. He will prove to be one of the best signings of the 2015 season without a shadow of a doubt. You will be missed at Coventry Colin, although you're presence has been limited of late, it will be a poorer place without you. every good wish for success at Swindon

Birmingham V Poole Grand Final 2nd Leg

An SCB Official is always in the pits for a Sky Meeting and has overall control of the proceedings on the night. On this occasion Poole and Sky engineered a result to enable Poole to be in the playoffs as was their preferred fourth qualifier. This was blatant match fixing with the help of the senior SCB official in the pits. The fact that this was witnessed by the crowd present at Belle Vue on the night and thousands more On television goes without any reprimand by the govering body i.e. the SCB. to either Sky, Poole Officials or the well known SCB Official in charge. This seems a little one sided when you find that the Centre Green Prese.nter at Birmingham posts a general comment about speedway on the night that the Birmingham Web Site is taken down yet again by the BSPA web master on orders or through personal spite, resulting in an SCB reprimand of 30 days suspension ensuring that Birmingham and to a lesser extent Coventry are denied his services for their presentations. No wonder Speedway has degenerated from a sport to an entertainment classification to rank besides wrestling in this country.Poole no doubt will go on to be crowned Elite League Champions, but outside Dorset it will be a very hollow victory and will be remembered by the rest of the speedway family of supporters as the day that speedway lost all credibility in this country.

Presume A>P>Media are practicing ready for the Brummies on monday!!
  7. Too true Chris, ive posted on the Unnoficial Supporters Club Web Site Naming the Muppets who are responsible for withholding the truth about A P Media and the BSPA. At least they cannot monopolise freedom of speech on there!
  8. Well said and i am sure many sane speedway fans will agree with your thoughts. Tonights Biker F.M. show should throw more light on this topic or so i have been told. Listen in folks and be amazed at the goings on in speedway!

    Brummies Website

Ah that sounds about right. Another puppet of the BSPA who got the push from Birmingham last season for not coming up with a reliable web site for them, with apparent meddling by the BSPAto make sure it didnt happen. Seems that Birmingham dont buy friends in high places Like our south coast rivals who made the play offs with buckets full of help from a cetain Mr Steele. No doubt he will be on hand in the Poole pits on monday as their eigth man!!!And before we get any bright remarks about affording the money to buy help and contrary to snide remarks by a few on this forum, money is not an issue at Birmingham.

Coventry Storm V Dudley Fri April 19th At 8pm

The years were rolled back at Brandon last night with the return of the old enemy in the form of The Heathens and what a pleasing night of speedway it turned out to be. Not since the days of Charles Ochiltree has the presentation been so on the ball. Everything went to time which is a miracle at this stadium. Music requests, informative Centre Green Presenter, slick timing of the whole evening made an enjoyable nights entertainment for everyone who attended and Im sure looking at the crowd there were quite a few new young followers with their parents there. Well done Mick for taking the chance on this new venture and for putting together a real nights entertainment. Lets hope the Bees riders take note!

    Wpa Healthcare Trophy

Very good question Bryn. I think that i will pass on answering that question as Chris lives a lot closer to me than you and you have the protection of a :moat: around the island that I am not afforded in Stoke against any reprisals regarding the size of this superstar !!

    Wpa Healthcare Trophy

Think you will find that Chris Simpson was not an Islander but was in fact one of the Two first ever signings, along with Barry Bishop for the Isle of Wight Wizzards back in the middle nineties when George Major was team manager. Good memories of those days travelling down every week from Stoke on Trent to race on a fantastic track with very friendly supporters. Possibly correct though about the weight issue!!

    Plymouth 2012

Great to see Ryan fixed up for the 2012 season albeit in the Premier League. Good luck Ryan at Plymouth along with Ben Barker. Plymouths gain i see as Coventry"s loss. Expect a doubling up berth to follow shortly!

    Leszno Gp - 24th April 2010

just returning from Lesno by road today. Good meeting and good track, stadium and facilities. Bomber was hard done by having to endure a water truck immediately before his every race., the only rider to do so! Only down side was the lack of entertainment from 4.30 to 7 pm and a b. awfull D>J and sound system he had no idea of working. Take Note whoever it may concern, the night should be entertaining from the word go. Drag your presentation into the 21 Century and get the guys involved who do Cardiff. At least they understand speedway and the music scene!
