No - he was a bit so-so when we were in the Championship. It is a true No. 1 who is needed.

I hope im wrong but i don't think there's any out and out number 1's who want to ride over here who ain't already here, that's why Birmingham ended up with Pawlicki and Milik to start with.

If you're getting the same kind of rain that we are in Norfolk then it's too heavy for any speedway today IMO. Just got absolutely drenched on the school run!

It's also hissing it down in Suffolk this morn, 10 miles outside of Ipi and it's been constant for the last couple of hrs.

It’s just a massive shame that this situation may indeed force Buster to pull the team out, sad state of affairs

Are you Laguta Racing Fan in disguise or summit, makes me wonder with all the nonsense you keep shouting, Chapman only has himself to blame by thinking he's bigger than the sport and keep postponing meetings when it suits him, whether it's make believe rain, rider availablity or a broken pit gate:blink:

I'm confused as plenty on here have said the track was fine and there was hardly any rain and it was safe to get to heat 10. Which one is actually true?

Track was fine up to heat 6 when rain started and got gradually heavier, it then got worse after heats 7/8, heats 9/10 were pretty much from the gate and spread out

I did worry his injury last season would hamper his progress, seems not to have which is great - He and Brennan and great examples of the R/S working really well.

He did the right thing last season when injured and didn't come back to early, yeah he missed pretty much t remainder of the season but came but fully fit and has carried on this season where he left off before his injury

It states 'tapes up' as what I would call the parade or meeting time for all meetings on the BSPA website!

I know that and most others do, but it may confuse some people is what i was getting at, they see a tapes up time and assume it's tapes up for first race

I’ve been attending Foxhall since the 80s and I have also gone to various other tracks over the years. The advertised start time has always been the parade time with tapes up typically 15 mins later.

All this fuss over start times get a grip.

Any regular spectators knows the meeting starts at 2.15 for 2.30 first race, same as 7.30 and first race at 7.45 for an evening fixture, i suppose the confusing part is for any newbie/none regular or some away fans is if they check the British Speedway website and it states a tapes up time, yesterday it stated 2.15, the Witches next home match Thurs wk states tapes up at 7.30:blink:

Well Scott has said for the last couple of seasons he doesn't want Premiership full time so I would imagine that is the reason, Scott is very good at Oxford, almost unbeatable at Championship level so will be a big miss. Cook has been terrific for Workington so a bit of a no-brainer if Scott is not available full time.

Scott has always said he wouldn't or couldn't commit to both leagues once his TV with Eurosport ramped up.

Doyle, Ellis, Dan T, Rew & Jenkins can take r/r outings.

I'd stick with guests & r/r till he's fit again.

    Guest options in May:

B.Cook, Douglas, Masters, Becker, Lawson, C.Holder, Pickering, Brennan, Basso, Klindt, Tungate, Harris, Wright & of course Scotty Nicholls!

Forget Holder, he's pants round Foxhall, and with Scott's TV work ramping up will he want to take many guest bookings

This is exactly why there must be more for people to do/attract them to the meeting in person.  At Foxhall the prospect of standing out in the rain for 2.5 hours on a freezing cold night would have definitely reduced the crowd when it was available to watch on TV

My parents who are both in their early 80's and have had season tickets for a long as i can remember have not bothered getting one this season, they have instead invested in a BSN season ticket and then pick n choose whether they attend a live meeting depending on the weather on the day, can't say i blame um at their age if it's gonna be a cold/wet evening.

Not sure about that. Jordan I’m sure will come good but we’re still unbeaten with a under performing Jordan.

Im of the same thinking tbf, i think Ipi can afford to carry Jordan atm till he finds his feet, he just needs a spell at reserve to get some confidence, young Dan is picking up decent points home and away and Ellis is doing his bit and like been said their still unbeaten so it ain't all bad.

I remember Billy Lellmann riding a challenge match at Hackney and he looked pretty decent - I heard he left as he was homesick

It's going back yrs but Billy Lellman im sure came over the same yr as Shane Parker and if i remember correctly looked on par with Shane what i saw of them at Foxhall, i think he did leave and return to Australia because he was home sick
