Credit card transactions for on-line betting are treated as cash advances - with a fee being charged.

Cheers Neil, I understand now.
Edit
But didn't expect this as it was a deposit.
-
Did anyone know of a £3 fee being taken if you pay your deposit with a credit card, this morning I had a £3 fee taken on my credit card, when I enquired what it was it appears Bet365 drew the deposit I made as cash so therefore I have incurred a fee.

Agree fully with that, always listen when on, while following updates, another excellent service.
Print yourself a programme from here and fill it in as you go, it's like being at the track

The commentaries on WM are excellent.
Yes, they are so good it's almost like being there watching it.

I've been using that page for the last couple of years and then list it on a post it reminder that comes up on my screen when I switch my PC on.
Just to remind you that "Best Pairs Cup" round 1 from Poland is on Eurosport tomorrow evening at 6pm

Not seen Question of Sport yet but noticed that Mark answered Speedway to a question when it wasn't the correct answer.
Because my memory is terrible I can't remember the programme a couple of days ago - but perhaps the new Eggheads one - when the question was asked about what sport the Poole Pirates competed in. Obviously no-one knew but don't tell Steve Shovlar because he thinks they're famous.
Who's Steve Shovlar ????

They should be there in the morning was that not the case?
Definitely they should have been there in the morning, even if it's just to make sure the local promoter is on the ball, you don't have an important meeting like that going out on TV without checking that everything is running smoothly.
-
I don't know why some of the BSPA management committee were'nt at the stadium at least by Sunday lunchtime as it was their show.
-
I agree it is the stadiums fault regarding the state of the track and the fact they have decline an interview in my opinion is poor. I assume Mick hasn't said he could have done things better?
Been at a family dinner, a bit rude listen to the radio at the table haha.
No excuse Woz, Speedway is more important than Family dinners...........but don't tell my wife I said that.

As an off the wall diversion, a few friends were having a discussion this afternoon and we wondered what reson was there for Coventry adopting The Bees teaam name.
Wasn't it the Brandon B's and then later known as the Bees, and then Coventry B's or Bees, I think something like that.
-
Would it help if some local supporters got together and organised a survey door to door of the local residents to get their views, nobody likes housing estates built on their doorstep.
Sometimes better the devil you know

Can anyone point me to where it confirms that the new race night will be Tuesdays.
-
Has an official announcement been made for running on Tuesday.

"Peterborough Licence up for grabs". another wonderful opportunity for all you people who know how Speedway should be run to take it on now, you can apply for whatever League you think it would do best at.

Speedway is 2 years older than me, will it reach it's Centenary, it's got 15 years to achieve that, will I out live it, or will I go before it does........Sobering thought.

It's very difficult to decide what is fiddling and what is team management then, You would rather see a rider take his allotted rides all night and not have an in form reserve take his place then, because that is a team manager fiddling the rides to suit.
-
BUT we are still giving the WORST side an advantage. I'm sorry but that is as wrong as the other Fiddles going on in Speedway to keep the Meeting exciting.
I would have thought the Sport was exciting enough to stand on it's own - Four Riders around One Track - it doesn't get any better than that. Why introduce unnecessary Fiddling?
Thinking like that you might just as well stop riders making changes to their bike after their first ride, I agree of dropping the Double points ride that is a terrible rule But gate positions is surely a different matter, after all a team wins a toss to choose gate positions to start a meeting, should that be abandoned as a form of fiddling.
-
I don't know what was wrong with the old, "if a team is 6 or more points behind they have choice of gate positions", as Team manager I used that many a time, it does give you an edge if you concentrate on how the gates are behaving and knowing how your rider gates and rides, but nothing is foolproof.

Looking at the points Pedersen and Woffinden are on, If Tai were to ride I think Pedersen would take full advantage of Tai being vulnerable.
Or am I being a bit harsh.

Hayley just told Roy he reminded her of Dirk Bogarde in Once a Jolly Swagman, she said it was a film about Speedway.
