    Glasgow Tigers 2024

Hence the otherwise it will be a long tail! experience wise, he’s behind a lot of riders who will probably get an RS classification

Borke and Zitschke as second strings? Brennan shaped gap with those 7 point's isn't there! Not much out there after Riss, Ben Cook or Jake Allen. All of which seem nailed on elsewhere. Unless the aussie comes in on a 4 and you've got 8 points for a no5

Vissing probably the only decision the club has had to make out of those. Imagine Piper will be considered a RS, if they are back, otherwise it could be a long tail

    Belle Vue 2024

Same thoughts here. Ipswich would be mad to let him go but whenever I've seen him there his style doesn't seem to suit. I think he'd really kick on at Belle Vue, it's helped Lidsey immeasurably this year and why wouldn't the national team manager want to get another youngster kicking on?

    Oxford Cheetahs 2024

But that safety net of Berwick is always there. Same with Wolves, 3 years there now without a real big kick on? Poland is clearly helping with track craft but the UK is a safe place for him where at Berwick he's almost guaranteed 5 rides and 8/9 points most weeks. Agree that it wouldn't be great for Berwick both in team building and subsequently crowd levels loosing the local lad. It's just a hunch and I imagine he'll end be the first name announced for the Bandits!

    Oxford Cheetahs 2024

Nor me, but if he did I would have thought Oxford with the Courtney connection would be a no brainer. He could do with a year away from the safety net that is his homegrown track where ever that may be

    Oxford Cheetahs 2024

Flint. Loads of rumours he will replace Riss/King

    Oxford Cheetahs 2024

He seems destined for Redcar, if you believe the rumours, but Flint as a HL with the rumoured points reduction would be a great signing. Very youthful side with Atkins and Jenkins as second strings. Nicholls may see out one more year with that side and should give about 6.5 points for a 2nd HL.

    Workington 2024

Do agree with the round the block part of the NDL. Using the line ‘former NDL’ champion in the press release for a guy who won it 8 years ago doesn’t show much development, if anything his average is a point lower than it was back then.
  10. Whilst I imagine this is tongue in cheek - Lambert guesting on an assessed has set a precedent...and his average is lower than Kemp's! It would be the icing on the cake for the Poole meltdowns if it happens
  11. Very valid points! As I said, breakfast musings before any caffeine! Thought it was 40 not 39! Forgot the likes of Brennan were ‘reduced’ at the start of the year! Pearson, given their loyalty to him and that he rode in the NDL this year, just a thought that this well talked about chat between Tolley and Morris could have included using him as one. I’m sure it will be Flint-if Oxford don’t end up moving up!

Bring back the Mavericks Midland Mavericks
  13. Space at Leicester and Belle Vue for him
  14. The Holders and Cook were just guess work, would imagine Woffy for C Holder if he is back over here next year. Hope if isn't for Musielak though, would be a poorer league without him in it.
  15. Just based on his performances this year for them, he was the shining light towards the end of the season. If anything I think it would be harsh him not getting a place there this year
  16. If the limit stays the same and Brum come up, I see it playing out something like this - based on the Ellis to Belle Vue rumours Belle Vue Brum Kings Lynn 1 Kurtz 8.51 1 Harris 6.53 1 Iversen 6.64 2 Ellis 5.71 2 Lawson 6.57 2 Tarasenko 6.94 3 Blodorn 5.83 3 Douglas 7.14 3 Basso 6.25 4 Rew 4 4 Brennan 6.02 4 Klindt 6.89 5 Bewley 8.21 5 Pickering 6.78 5 Magic/Lambert 8 6 6 Schlien 5.89 6 Lambert 4.78 7 RS - Bailey 0 7 RS - Pearson 7 RS Rowe 40 32.26 38.93 39.5 7.74 40 1.07 40 0.5 Ipswich Sheff Leis 1 Doyle 9.12 1 Holder 8.91 1 Fricke 8.98 2 Masters 7.13 2 Tobi 8.69 2 sedgy 5.07 3 King 7.23 3 Holder 7.16 3 b Cook 6 4 Riss 4.84 4 Howarth 5.55 4 Kerr 5.45 5 Henriksson/etc 5 5 Z Cook 5.1 5 Worrall 5.41 6 Wright 6.31 6 6 7 RS -Thompson 7 RS Gilkes 7 RS - Kemp 39.63 35.41 30.91 40 0.37 40 4.59 40 9.09 I'd love to see Emil back but something tells me he wont be, Ipswich won't build a team without King and there's no way they don't have Riss after sticking by him. I do think Rew will end up at Belle Vue to replace Lidsey *preparing for pelters but they are just some breakfast time musings and sums
  17. Thoroughly enjoyed that on the TV. I’m no Harris fan but Doyle in 13 summed him up, some terrible riding and had that been Nicki P you’d all be up in arms! Josh Pickering, if he could string those great rides together more consistently he will make it, what a performance. King very unlucky with a horrific crash but too long a tail for the witches, who have been fantastic at times this year, one too many. Feel sorry for Louis that they spent so much on Emil and Doyle to just miss out but some terrible loyalty caused their downfall in the end. Riss was pathetic again, didn’t he win the CL there a few years back? wonder who guy Nicholls is with this evening seen as the guest he’s been slagging off essentially win it for one of his teams….although posting picture on social media of him taking delivery of a new rolls Royce, an hour into the meeting, does he care as much as he spouts off about?
  18. Not quite sure what all the outrage is about? The track was pretty poor last night, and has been moaned about for the lack of racing for years. Even with the shape changes. Yes weather really didn't help matters but that doesn't get past the fact it was poor. It caught Pickering, Howarth and even the great Emil out a few times. The ref was appalling, and he was right to question the actions and asking if he makes contact will he stay in - fair. Emil should have gone in ht1 and either Doyle or Hume should have in ht4. King and Doyle got a way with a few rollers as well which usually would have been called as lucky to get away with by comms in the GPs.... Tetrow comparison was a bit odd though, Doyle outclassed him that night as well! Don't forget how much you all hate him when you celebrate GBs next medals at the SWC or SON! Just like English football fans, hate another teams player but love them in an England shirt, baffling

    Dream Team

Isn't Brennan his step son? Martin that is. Or have I dreamt seeing pics of him helping him when he was in the juniors?
  20. Thanks for agreeing with the rest of my points and only picking up on the mistake!
  21. Yes, completely slipped my mind he was already in. Point for Fricke still stands though
  22. I can't see Magic getting a WC this year with Wozniak coming in, Dudek is in with more of a shout for me. Bewley, Woffy and Doyle are certs Laguta and Emil should be there but can't see it. Thomsen- maybe due to that horrific crash in Riga but he was pretty poor up to then. Fricke will be a victim of Aussie numbers with Doyle making the cut ,could both in mean an Aussie GP on the cards? Dudek - more consistent than Magic this year, just and could sneak in as pick 4 Outside of those in it this year; Rasmus Jensen - probably 1st or second reserve Becker - lively on the weekend but not ready as with Jensen would imagine he'll be high on the reserve list with Hancock's influence. Kolodzij - always flying in Poland but never seems to translate it at this level Kubera/Pawlicki's etc will struggle with too many Poles already in the series Lebedevs - seems to be a cert for a pick, not a fan personally. Always feels out of control. Huckenback - great occasionally and would be a big shock. Lidsey - in the same mould as Becker but lacks the Hancock/ single nation draw card.
  23. Looking forward to his expose/bombshell story in the winter about how bad British speedway is being run when he's the main person taking advantage of it. His team win a meeting that puts another team through and he gets 3 more chances to earn some money off the back of it. Shame cup-tied isn't a thing in speedway! But, it wouldn't be a speedway play off final without him in there somewhere, even if it's just Kelvin droning on about him crashing and winning the rerun all those years ago. Last 10 years I think he's only missed 2 finals
