    King's Lynn Stars 2013

With Peterborough (supposedly) up for sales and Frost looking for a way out I now foresee a spear head of Kenneth Bjerre & Niels K Iversen at King's Lynn for 2013 1, Niels K Iversen 8.79 2, Daniel Nermark 5.31 3, Lasse Bjerre 4.92 4, Kenneth Bjerre 8.18 5, Mads Korneliussen 7.02 6, ??? 7, ??? Points Limit 41 (6.78 remaining)

    Panthers 2013 Thread

We've been told that the riders have to pay for their own flights etc in British speedway. The only travel expenses covered by clubs now are the travel costs from UK base to track + return If Frost is covering riders flight costs more fool him
  4. That is the obvious solution. The other being it will allow space for Chris Harris to keep his spot in the series as one of the old guard Think it's a bit of a surprise. He would have been well in for the Championship but for his shoulder injury. I personally think his bowing out way to early

I think Holder has blown his chance tonight. Nicki Pedersen will win it in Toran

Disappointing to see such a poor start to the meeting. Dire so far. Hoping it gets much better quickly

There's always been a host of riders wanting a year at Lynn but we just won't (rightly so) pay some of the ridiculous wages.

I'm sure they had last years meeting on their mind when they put together a good line-up (and a great meeting it was too) but that was poorly attended which suprised me and many others but it wouldn't have hurt anyone hust to have included Doolan in this one. This line-up will only put off even more but I'm not missing it for the World

The standard of the line up is irrelevant. Kev would want to be in it full stop. It would also be something for the lesser riders to chase down. It is a massive mistake from the promotion I'm afraid & a big one.

Since Linus signed for Poole he not been that bad score wise. There would be far worse out there on a 3 average. Although I think him being back a Poole is more likely.

The problem with Nermark is he has no team ethic at all. If he's in front of a team mate chasing down an opposing ride when he's clearly the slower rider he'll never give his place up at all costs. It really lets him down. Edit: Forgot to add, I'd be well chuffed if that team lined up in 2013

The man is a legend and I'd have him no other way. And he'd be right with what he said way back then to today wouldn't he.

Buster use to do things like that week in week out in the early days. Great passion, would like to see more of it. Wouldn't read much into what he said though

While in the Elite League, this is an impossible promise from any rider that's also committed to teams on the continent. If you mean commitment as in effort I don't believe Janowski or Nermark where any less committed than the other riders. No rider want to turn up to a meeting and not earn money. Janowski is probably the most banged up rider from crashed at home & Nermark just couldn't get to grips with he track at all but away from home done a solid job. Me personally, on reflection, I think it's just been an unlucky year. The team just could click together at home. Nermark should be a must for next year as he'll be on a bargain average, maybe as low as in the high 4's.
  16. No he doesn't. As a Brit would automatically be a 3 regardless Where on earth did you pull that one from????

    Joe Haines Signs For Dudley

King's Lynn have made noises that they will not be running NL next season.
  18. That's the reason he should continue what he's doing away from the British shores. There is no reason what so ever for him to come and ride the UK. If he gets a job in Sweden & Poland jobs a good un
  19. WOW. How on earth did that end a draw. Big well done to ZG, superb team effort
  20. I dont watch to much Polish league speedway but the standard between each teams riders is extreme isn't it. Gorzow way way stronger. How has that happened. Worse than the British Elite League
  21. I wasn't really bothered about the swearing & the gesturing & was also wrongly excluded from the race. What bothered me most is Nicki was extremely close friends with Richardson and admittedly found it tough to deal with what happened to a great friend. Yet, yesterday gave the impression that he really didn't give a stuff about the health of AJ. I found that difficult to swallow. Showed a major lack of respect to a fellow competitor, that to me is unacceptable.

    Olympic Stadium...gp?

The thing is though I''ve had hotels in London much much cheaper than Cardiff even when events are on at Wembley stadium etc. The train & underground allows much easier access. It could even attract bigger attendances simply because it's London. It has to be worth a punt regardless of rental costs etc. If the Olympic Stadium was to happen it would kill Cardiff. I don't believe 2 GP's would be supported in the UK. Cardiff would probably only achieve 15-20,000 fans at most

Pratt and the Chapman's have a very good relationship too as was seen with Busters 20 year celebrations. Colin Pratt is more than welcome to come to the NA and would be a great boost too imo
  25. Maybe if he stays away from riding in the UK altogether we may get our next World champion. Us Brits really like to nail someone who in as much shows any potential.
