Surely King's Lynn have set up the stronger reserve with it switching between Wojdylo, Palm-Toft & Iversen?? Kerr isn't anywhere near their level.

    Peterborough Panthers 2023

Missing the point again. He may or may not have taken 2 shillings for closing down the club. Everyone else is running around trying to save it, if they do he can get 2 shillings more. All of this for no work at all Great bit of business

I'm amazed nobody has figured it out yet with regards to the current owner. Chapman is behaving as a shrewd business owner in my opinion. He will not hand over ownership until after planning has been approved/unapproved. Fans are saying that the club has no value, well it clearly does. If the stadium gets a protection order from the council it again becomes a going concern, Chapman can increase it's selling value & he's had to do no work for it either. Great bit of business if you ask me

King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions

MPT is absolutely one of the rider's I wouldn't have picked, 100%. He's not one I'm expecting to add to his average. Tarasenko, Wojdylo & Iversen I'm expecting to add 1 point each. They have to deliver or this side fails. The impact of having Rowe at No7 could be the difference.

King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions

You're falling in to the 'bad management' trap. Lawson & Harris are decent but on their current averages what do they add?? They have little to no improvement on their averages which will = losing meetings. I'm sticking my neck out & saying King's Lynn will make top 4 with this septet. If not, 100% the fans will be entertained with Musielak, Tarasenko, Basso & Wojdylo. Having Rowe at No7 will be huge.

King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions

I've said every year "why do clubs always try to hit the team building limit?" I think King's Lynn might just have it bob-on this year (even though I wouldn't have signed 3 of them ). Genuinely solid throughout & every single rider except Musielak should improve their starting average. That's what team building should be, who improves, not who fit in to 40 points. If rider's don't improve it gives the club a large scope to play with. King's Lynn Speedway, for the first time in a decade from me, WELL DONE
  7. You'z angry blud, bare shook fam
  8. I haven't singled out Doyle. It's an Ipswich thread, an Ipswich signing & people banging on about his commitment to British Speedway & / or Ipswich. He's said himself he needs British Speedway because it makes him better in the GP's & Poland, benefiting himself to be here. Why should fans be upset by that??
  9. Finally, we're getting there. Jason Doyle has signed for Ipswich because it benefits him. Why are people upset by that??
  10. Not denying what he's said this close season at all, all I'm saying is the main reason he rides British Speedway is to benefit himself as per above. Not for the love of British Speedway & / or Ipswich. I just don't get why fans feel upset by that.
  11. Ok, had to find his original interview for signing for Ipswich in his first year, in which the situation is obviously the same for him personally. Read it 3-4 times then come back to me. I know exactly the bits you'll ignore or you'll say "yeah but that 2021." At no point is he enforcing any commitment to British Speedway. _____________________________________ “I’ve been speaking to Chris Louis for many years now, but it just never worked out. “I went to Sweden and then obviously the pandemic happened so the last two years I have been over in just Poland and Sweden. I made the decision after this year that I wanted to come back to British speedway and Chris was the first one I spoke to and obviously from the years before where we were close to signing contracts, I thought it was time to go to Ipswich for the first time.” “I had a few offers, so I had to sit down and pick through the pros and cons and the main pros are that I like the Ipswich track and have rode well there so that was a big plus point. Plus, living so close to Ipswich as well and going to airports after a Thursday meeting for Grand Prix was another major factor. The final one was being so close to home; I can get back to home from Ipswich within an hour and I’m back in my own bed and not travelling through the night.” “For myself racing in England is a massive plus because I’m riding all the time on the bike. The young kids always speak about being in Poland and Sweden but if you’re on the bike you are getting a lot more confidence and a lot more money if you are riding twice a week compared to only doing one in Sweden and one in Poland. “Sometimes if you are not in the top five in the team, you are probably in and out of the team all year. For myself, riding a lot in England helps me riding in Poland and in the Grand Prix and I seem to go a lot better when I’m on the bike and not thinking as much as perhaps I have the last couple of years when I have been doing Poland and Sweden. The young kids they really need to look at the way I do it because for myself I think it benefits my racing when I do go to other major competitions.”
  12. I don't deny most of that. At the same time he's not riding for Ipswich because he's passionate about Ipswich. It's convenient & paid handsomely. I don't think it's anything for people to get their knickers in a twist over.
  13. Never denied that. Doyle enjoys his work, loves winning races & shows undeniable commitment to every cause. Most of that is for personal pride, not to be confused with love for the club.
  14. Yep, absolutely that. Convenient. His words are that of nearly every club sports person on the planet, a bending of the truth. He has his employers, sponsors & fans to utter sweet nothings to, to make money.
  15. Done neither. Doyle's integrity & loyalty is with his family. Riding for Ipswich is a job & what he deems best for himself & family right now. Nothing to do with any love or loyalty for Ipswich &/or British Speedway.
  16. Supporters of their teams in every sport always gets sucked in by 'love it here' statements. Very few (next to zero) talk the truth about their current employer. It's absolute fact that Doyle is only at Ipswich because it works for him right now, close to home & family & paid handsomely by TruPlant. Imagine the reaction if Doyle came out with "I'm only here because of family reasons. If it was a choice I'd be elsewhere because in truth, Ipswich is a s#!thole." Supporters (in the main) are deluded in defending their badge. It's understandable but Doyle is NOT at Ipswich through his "loyalty to British Speedway."

    Team Predictions 2024

The larger/faster track clubs may fear for his capability as he struggled horrifically in 2023 with his now 5.10 average. It's a risk.

    It's not that deep bruv
  20. I'm not sure it's about "loyalty to British Speedway" with Doyle at all. He lives reasonably local & stated many times he wants more family time throughout the season. Riding for Ipswich gives him exactly that. Nothing more, nothing less.

    Idea for seating ?

    £18,000 - £40,000 / between 50 - 200 spectators

    Peterborough Panthers 2023

I really don't like this Tomlin geezer. There's absolutely no way Buster walked away from Peterborough with £100k+ in his pocket, absolutely no chance. Not even half that.

Out the 2 i'd pick Feltz all day long. Could never be with a smackhead, so in my head there's a possibility then
