I would have thought it was greatly to the benefit of the sport, that you could make an impact at a wide range of age..

If Eddie was to read this thread he'd realize there are many people who want to see him receive the minimum punishment and to be back riding asap. it's only the sad spiteful few who want to see his career destroyed.

I think we all need to remember how unique a sport British speedway is,a two year ban ended Danny birds career and i'd imagine a one year ban(which is effectively an 18 month ban) could do the same to eddie's. lets hope common sense prevails

You base this assumption on what exactly? ever considered his mechanic made the adjustment just because he had to endure the east London trick track?

A hand injury that will be fine this time tomorrow ! quite a few gp riders seem to have 24/48 hour injuries prior to grand prix's.

A rider falsely claiming he is injured and receiving a guest facility as opposed to a 28 day ban is also of course a cheat.

Me too I've got £600 riding on them.

And maybe he was !but he was said to be tired on Monday and you can guarantee he ll be ok to practice tomorrow , so it does beg the question! and if he was guilty i fail to see how its no worse than the Eddie situation. i of course believe them both though!

Kennett says he was unaware and holder says he was injured last night these are the facts, personally i can't differentiate between the two.

Does that include getting a facility for a rider that's tired? or average manipulation ? or track doctoring ? how about cheating the public with long term r/r, does that count? Kennett has simply been caught for something dozens of other riders are guilty of. British speedway is on the floor as it is, so giving one of its brightest talents a lengthy ban serves no purpose at all. we just need certain clubs to stop dragging the sport through the mud.

All the trouble in the league is caused by lakeside if they are not whinging about averages they're whinging about money, if that doesn't work they are looking to grass up anyone who beats them. the sooner lakeside are back.in the lower tiers the better for British speedway

We should all cut Eddie some slack, lets not forget he was trying to do us all a favour and keep lakeside out of the play offs.
