  1. I agree - such a shame one of the best race tracks in the country - and a club and its fans taken with no thought of the history behind it such a shame it really is
  2. Such a tragedy track fence and lights gone what total disaster hopefully this isn’t the end

    Scunthorpe 2024

Who’s to say there isn’t a big sponsor lined up to help fund PL racing ? I’d guess the rumoured move is more about survival of the PL and the TV deal than anything else - the survival of Scunthorpe speedway should be first priority I’d have thought though .
  4. Rob the biggest dead cert to be TM in years

    Scunthorpe 2024

A very strong rumour Scunthorpe will be in the PL 2024 .
  6. Have to agree rather over the top - all people want to hear Chapman has sold the club - the announcement is hardly big news far from it - but it’s news and hopefully it helps the cause.
  7. Iversen is coming back also not as a heat leader in a no 2 or 4 role from what I’ve heard .
  8. I was told Saturday night at the farewell meeting everything speedway connected needs to be removed within 7 days from the site and yes apparently Workington have bought the track lights how true any of this is time will tell
  9. Now this meeting is over i hope Chapman would step back and let any interested potential owner promoter take charge of the Panthers and see what can be done if anything.
  10. Either Chapman has no sense of history of the Panthers as a club or just couldn’t be bothered - several ex riders was in attendance and even ex promoter in James Easter would have been an idea for all of them to had a chat over the pa and even a lap of the track .
  11. Can’t disagree with all you say I was there last night the track was way to slick and dry - a big crowd deserved more for there money - I was told that the supporters club paid Chapman ex Panthers riders admission costs which is a disgrace - much much more should have been made of the ex riders in attendance. As been posted on Facebook this morning Chapman has a week to get all his equipment off site and track lights apparently been sold to Workington . Last nights meeting as you say will be quickly forgotten but it should have been much much better.
  12. More likely to be a mix of Pboros and Kings Lynn riders can’t see Buster breaking the bank

    Brandon Update

Sadly you are correct if I knew nothing about speedway or stock cars I’d listen to the views put forward and I’d think are these people for real- sadly the argument in favour of speedway and stock cars the people doing it are vastly under prepared they need figures on costs and most importantly attendance numbers - I will be amazed if this goes in favour of Brandon Stadium if there was ever a need for a rabbit out of the hat moment it’s needed pretty dam fast

    Kings Lynn 2023

Don’t think anyone will be to upset with his departure
  17. Seem to remember he saved Mildenhall for a short period of time then sold it or closed it can’t remember but took the club assets with him - didn’t he almost buy Leicester as well ?

    Brandon Update

Well going by what I’ve just seen in the last 45 minutes Brandon is lost that bloke has to be the most un prepared for the job in hand as I’ve ever seen totally uncomfortably in what he was supposed to be doing - on what I’ve just witnessed all is lost
  19. Time will tell I guess but I think your very close to the starting lineup there for 2024 closer than you realise lol
  20. Fantastic win last night congratulations to the Stars against all the odds .

    King's Lynn v Ippo 17/08/23

Does make me wonder if the plug will be pulled on either Stars or Panthers to cut costs

    King's Lynn v Ippo 17/08/23

Exactly right - Chapman has major faults but this team wasn’t his choice the signing of Laguta wasn’t his signing it was Brady’s and sign him then walk away almost straight away. Whatever the personal reasons was/are he should have seen the season out the stood down .

    King's Lynn v Ippo 17/08/23

Yes I can see that but people are quick to blame Chapman and he definitely has major faults but the really Brady especially had put the club in the position it’s now in just to walk away and expect Chapman to pick up everything is a total joke - Brady and his actions could well spell the end of the club .

You are correct Brady and Dale Allett have a whole lot to answer for the mess the club is in especially Brady
