No worries , I'm not sure if he has posted anything . I just checked his profile and it gave the last time he was active, I presume that means signed in. Anyhow you will understand, it is just another chance to have a smile at his antics. -

Where Is British Speedway Going.

Why don't you post your reply on here? Then we can all have a look at it and debate the pro's & cons, after all I thought that was what a forum was for. -
And on the odd occasion that we could hear Yorkie he managed to ask some very silly questions, the best one when the two bees reserves were out in Ht9 and Sarjeant broke the tapes. Yorkie rushes over to Scroggins (I think it was) and asked what are we going to do now? Everyone around me burst into laughter..
-
Well done Chris. The one bright spot of last night..
-
You are right , that has been a problem or quite some time now. If we can get a decent presentation from the centre green then that will be an improvement.
-
It appears that Peter York will still be with us , but he will be confined to the pits area with DJ Bart on the centre green. A good move in my opinion.
-
Perhaps the centre green man should be provided with a skate board to improve his mobility.
-
Never mind, if we can get someone a bit younger to do the job he should be able to run faster and dodge those flying bikes
-
You might call it that, but the majority will have other descriptions .
-
I think most posters would accept that statement, it's the method used to get there that rankles.

Doubt it . Probably in the BSPA bunker until the flak dies down. -
Ah right. Mind you they would have to pay me £910 to stand next to Middlo for 3-4 hours.
-
Not you is it?
-
It really is amazing what some folk are prepared to spend their cash on. i have just been looking at the Briggo race jacket on e-bay, and whilst checking the sellers history noticed that someone had bid £910 to assist Middlo at the KK testimonial. The same person also bid £560 to assist Loram at the Havvy farewell meeting.. Must be very enthusiastic.

Predictable I'm afraid, after so many years of being such a well run club it is so sad to see the state we are in now.
-
That will be the "infamous" Peter York. Never around when you need him but always manages to make comments when they are not required. You are right he is an old DJ , he worked with BBC Radio Birmingham back in the early 1970's and he hasn't changed his act since then. In fairness he works with a roving microphone, not in the announcers box so it's unlikely that he had anything to do with the music being played. However if there is anyone who so obviously past his sell by date, then he is the man.

Of course, it could also be a case that some bees fans just can't wait to" stick the knife in" where bomber is concerned. -
Did you mean to type skull&crossbonesduggery there?
