Krzysztof Kasprzak Testimonial Meeting 11/9
Dave Jones replied to hail_to_the_shale's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Any chance someone would like to send me my money back for the number of times I went to watch the bees last year when KK decided not to" turn up"? -

showery, and forecast to continue for a while yet. Not too bad though -
Until the next time Horton "goes off on one"...
-
He made one massive mistake. He didn't take the advice offered to him by the stadium people on Saturday, if he had, this whole mess could have been avoided.
-
Stick it on the P/Boro pages then, and those who are interested can read it.
-
More important issues for the bees fans , than what happens at P/Boro to be honest.

I have been using Cooper St to park for some time now. thought it was safer and have had no problems. Now you have me bothered, looks like I will be parking well away from Wolverhampton and getting the Metro .
-
Sorry to read of your problem. It happened to me back in the 1990's and I expect it was happening before that .As BWitcher says it's all down to the local scum . They probably see it as their Monday night bit of fun.

Not enough thrust under the wings? -
If you were parked on the road by the East park , then I'm afraid you were a prime candidate. It has been going on for years. Had it happen to me too.

It's not sinking in is it ?

So even now your crusade for Horton continues. If I had been in his boots I would have been at the stadium at crack of dawn on Saturday asking questions. But no despite agreeing to meet at 4pm he didn't bother turning up . He knew the stadium people were concerned but no difference. Even then when he arrived on Sunday he failed to make the correct decision,So to finish off the day he decides to take a massive swipe at the owners , blaming them for everything when he was told on Saturday the track was not good enough.

Which other part of the statement would you like me to comment on ? -

But what we have been told is very clear, the stadium wanted it called off on Saturday but were in no position to do so. Horton couldn't be bothered till Sunday then couldn't make a decision, end result fiasco. -
That's because he has had plenty of practise, yet doesn't seem to learn. The problems of last Friday seem to me to just be a repeat of difficulties experienced last year

Tell us the truth now You had inside info -
Have the recent floods contaminated the water supply down in Dorset, I wonder ?
-
Best laugh in days, thanks very much.
-
I wouldn't imagine you & PQ7 would recognise a fact if it smacked you both in the face.
-
Try reading post 2054 , it more or less sums everything up.
-
Hardly bitching. I would describe it more like laying out the facts .
-
Fair enough, all I would say is don't let it grind you down. There is nothing that individuals like you & me can do to influence anything. I imagine the majority of bees fans knew this day would come sooner rather than later, and whilst it is very sad to read we just have to hope that a new stadium becomes a reality. In the meantime keep smiling. Edit The comment about "bricks being tainted" referred to a very underhanded situation that took place at Brandon in 2011. I expect many bees fans will remember. It was the day, that in my opinion we lost Sandhu as promoter of the bees and who knows possibly one of the reasons we are where we are today .

Did you not spot the big smiley? Perhaps your sense of humour has diminished whilst waiting for the new national stadium to appear.
