Have seen worse GP's. The track seemed to change quite a few times and those with experience dealt with that best, but generally if you were left behind you were screwed.
Holder a very worthy winner, hopefully he can stop it being a one horse race.

Scunny are going to have a job on pulling that back bit I wouldnt rule them out.
Good to see Kemp has found somewhere that he can produce consistently, perhaps he is finally about to realise his potential.

Imperative that we follow that up with a win next Thursday.

Well that was much more encouraging.

Yep been said that his engines have been too strong. Should be on fresh kit tonight apparently.

I can't imagine the UK being on his radar until the Polish league starts to wind down. Which is a pity as he would transform the side.

16 minutes ago, Bald Bloke said:Me too . It is worrying. We have to many riders that have started badly. Niels has scored 9 points in his first 2 meetings, riding at No.2 . 5 points coming from the 2 heats 8's. MPT has averaged 3.43 from his first 3 meetings, and Patryk has average 3.00, that includes 1 win and 6 lasts frim 12 races. Even Toby has started slowly, with 4 wins and 3 lasts out of 15 races to average 6.40.
I made it that we are 2.66 under the limit at the moment. That is with Klindt in for Vad. It will probably get worse after tonight's meeting. So at the end of the month, we need to make a change or 2 if we are serious of getting that 4th play off spot. I know it all comes down to ££ and rider availability at the end of the day though.
I wouldn't get too wrapped up in averages after just two or three meetings but you are right, if there are points available then we need to be ruthless and use them, will be tough on whoever gets the heave ho but we need to win meetings

Six hundred and sixty six pointer at the AFA next Thursday.

It is going to be a another long hard season for you guys i fear!
He definitely had bike issues, three primary chains went in three rides. Just one of those nights you can't account for.
We need a win and a bit of continuity. Hopefully next Thursday v Brum, with seven fit riders one would hope.

Well done Monarchs, didn't think they'd get anywhere near 40.
Definitely have a chance in the second leg.

I'm disappointed as his first two meetings were very encouraging. But it is what it is, I expect his Polish team have pulled rank, you wouldn't be surprised if the same happens to Wojdylo before long.

It's for Tarasenko withholding his services.

Really hard to say what will happen without knowing the Lynn team.
If everyone is fit and available we ought to be pushing Oxford close but with a few debutantes at the circuit anything more will be a big ask. Nicholls guesting is a big bonus for the Cheetahs.

What's all this ranting and raving based on? Was anybody expecting us to go over and beat the Czechs in their own back yard?

I don't disagree but it's to get his third ride out of the way surely?

I think his poor score in Poland has led to one or two people putting two and two together and getting considerably more than four.
By all accounts it all seems completely beyond his control and just one of those things, I guess it might make him want to get an earlier flight in future so there is some wriggle room if necessary.

It's not the bottom league, it's the second division of three. And it's a pretty good standard.
Milik is better than his scores for Brum so far.

why lie
There must be something going on, I can't imagine it's Basso & Puk being absent as the two guests looked good. There must be riders from either (both) teams who can't/won't travel from Poland or something. All very odd.
Unless they are privy to a forecast that nobody else is but that seems highly unlikely.

There's literally no rain forecast by the Met Office tomorrow.

Lawson and MPT as a pairing is interesting

Whatever a rider's gender, surely you give them more than three competitive fixtures to get used to UK racing? Especially if the team has won them all.
