Bannakaffalatta replied to djp45's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
dont suppose any1 has heard on a restaging date yet? down in Leicester at the end of the month on business, just wondered if i wuld land lucky -
took this meeting in and ppl who go on about the poorer fair in NL shuld have watched this one as it was great entertainment. was surprised the track looked so bare though is that the norm these days?

think the wording was 'linked' to their complaint. they were careful not to claim any specific person did it just that it was linked so theres no chance of any claim against them for that bloody crazy the whole thing buying a house there and trying to get something that has been there a lot longer shut down. whats even more bloody stupid is the legal system that lets them do it. stinks of discrimination u can bet it wouldnt happen if it was old trafford or anfield

hardly 'having a go'. your 'NOT true'post in response to Chris was certainly a lot more aggressive. a lot of people on here, including respected posters involved with clubs, have posted that date. you must have a reason for stating its 'not true' so please share it with us instead of implying i am 'having a go' thats all. you seem to have omitted to do that in your reply

Upcoming Aussie Season Dates
Bannakaffalatta replied to BigFatDave's topic in International World of Speedway
if 'proper gander' forums arent the place to find out (I agree btw) perhaps it isnt the place to put out an appeal for an official call either -
any chance of expanding that and letting the poor downtrodden speedway fan waiting on it know when its actually going to be then? i have assuemd you know as you have said its not true or is it just that its not happening and no new date has been set yet?

someone got out the wrong side of bed its not a football forum m8, its a speedway one we try and stay civil to each other here. i mite not agree with a lot of the stuff bwdouble posts but he has every right to do it and at least he is doing it civilly. seems a shame ppl have taken his tongue in cheek comment as something more than that. And if u want to be picky this is a topic not a column

Buxton V King's Lynn (koc Final)
Bannakaffalatta replied to Mimmo's topic in National League Speedway
i'll get accused of **** licking but if i had a hat on i'd take it off to you Jayne I am one of the majority who thinks morris let you and the supporters down badly but rather get involved in any discussions over it you react with dignity and look at the bigger picture for speedway and calm things down with a matter of fact statement if only other promoters in uk could follow your example speedway would be in a lot healthier a position good luck to buxton and their loyal fans and riders for the KOC -

NL Treated with Contempt
Bannakaffalatta replied to Parsloes 1928 nearly's topic in National League Speedway
Intersting perspective so lets just stick with your 'its a business' approach in business, you have a responsibility to operate within your limitations. if lets say a business takes a booking to hold a conference in their meeting rooms but then have an outbreak of flu stopping them holding there own meeting the week before. then they decide that they will hold it the day after the booking was taken for but dont want the cleaners to have to come in 2 days running so cancel, at short notice the booking they took. Is that good business? hell no its a quick way to end up having to pay out wads of compensation and lose all credibility u have in the industry. As a 'business', Rye House/BSPA should have known better. Thats not business, its taking the preverbial -

Bannakaffalatta replied to keef's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
I'm sure a gentleman like Leigh wont but some of us reading this will think you are bang out of order hijacking his thread for your own publicity. theres a time and a place and this imo is neither -

2010 Grand Prix Competition
Bannakaffalatta replied to ballinger's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
i had the same thaught wilfred. it looks like hes fed up of doing the competition and is looking for a way out. if its a lot of work no one would blame him but its a bit ott to try and blame the mods for it. this thread is the same as last years and there was no dramatics then still it seems easier to blame the mods and have evry1 jump on the 'have a go at mods' bandwagon. ok now i've been nice mods please can i have my signature back or i'll threaten to stop posting -

Perhaps someone in regular contact with young jerran can let him kno just exactly what newports official webmaster is saying about him and that he now has the backing of most of the rest of us as a result i have met him on a few occassions and he is a nice lad. fair play to him for having the right attitude and determination that so many lack these days good luck jerran, make him eat his words
