Agreed, in the world cup he's been GB's best rider more often than not Harris Kennett Richardson Woffinden Bridger Would have been my pick, not thats it worth anything
  3. 5-Artur Mroczka-PZM-Poland This lad is fairly useful isnt he? Im sure i've heard the name before??
  4. More people watch Cricket than Speedway on sky, so of course they are going to put more money into cricket. I'm sure some cricket fans feel the same way about speedway as you do about cricket. Sky is very football dominated, then they have cricket, golf and tennis, leaving speedway unfortunatly down the pecking order. "I would like to see more speedway meetings from the EL and PL being shown on Sky on a more regular basis and more money being put into both leagues by them" Speedway isn't a big enough sport to be shown 2/3 times per week on sky, even if you throw money at it
  5. "Why not?, neither Workington or Boston are riding tomorrow so he will be there I would assume! I don't know why he didn't ride at Plymouth friday, maybe he didn't fancy the trip from Plymouth to Berwick It's certainly not a kick in the teeth for Boston Whippy, after all this is the British U18 Final! A little bit of perspective is needed I feel. Haines "wasnt allowed" to ride at Weymouth last Friday (24/10) even though Workington were not riding that day, they were riding on the Saturday at Berwick then on the Sunday at home to Berwick. As the Berwick meeting was off on Saturday and will be re-arranged after this meeting, it would be a kick in the teeth for Boston if he rode here. Of course none of this is Joe Haines fault, so im not having a go at him!!
  6. Just a thought, how about next season each elite league club shares the number 7 berth (or 6 and 7 berths) between say 3 or 4 riders who are riding the premier league with an average of up to 8, and are under say 23? The riders would stay at reserve all season, but wouldnt have to ride in a minimum number of meetings. Im not sure how this rule would effect club number 8s, maybe then could only replace people in the 1-6, or 1-5? Im sure people can pick holes all over this idea, but what do people think, could a rule like this be implemented?
  7. True, it would be very impressive if you could tell me them before the meeting took place. Ill check the times next time
  8. Anyone got the results and possibly heat details for this??
