Absolutely but people were talking about loopholes and restricted nunber of changes, clubs that want to win things are generally ruthless and why shouldn't they be -

Only: Poole have made changes previously to increase their chances of winning things the fact that they've not done ot at a lower level f late isn't relevant -

Clearly if this is true then Leicester want to go out with a play off win and as they've said they won't be running the club next season there are no wider considerations for them. Good teams make changes and win things, see Poole.. -
He wasn't brought in for the play offs he rode 6 or 7 league matches as far as I recall

He loves an announcement about an announcement We haven't had one (of either) for a while tbf

noaksey replied to Bojangles's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Fancied the fixture but not the 4 hour round trip. I made the right decision for once -
There was an update of sorts in the rained off Sheffield programme reissued for Monday's Wolves match To summarise a whole page nothing has changed regarding the Showground, there's no news etc

Brilliant thank you
-
Well I'm going to the meeting so I'm interested in people's predictions and I haven't managed to get the Star this week so any Peterborough fans looking in might know the answer
-
Do they sell the Star at Peterborough meetings?

Can only hope a speedway enthusiast is out there somewhere, there can't be much of a case for "buying" a speedway club currently. -

Who would be the promoters of Cradley I wonder?

Presumably there'll be no statements on the future of Monmore until they get planning for Dunstall
-
I'd expect Wolves Council to be very supportive but if that would extend to financial contributions in this climate I'd be very surprised. As someone else mentioned a couple of the sites rumoured aren may not be in Wolverhampton BC anyway
-
Speedway isn't 1 day a week now either more like every other week unless a NL side is run as well

I seem to remember he was on the verge of packing it in before, possibly due to the covid situation. He's certainly earned his retirement if he does stop this time
-
Nothing lasts forever Parry has been fantastic for us, even if the coach business carries on in some form there's no guarantee that they would continue the sponsorship all supposing there's a team to sponsor

It's certainly possible that the section 106 agreement could include a payment to help relocate the existing facility but it's pretty unlikely if the developers of the showground resist, then the local authority really are prepared to dig in to try and preserve the speedway
