    King's Lynn 2011

Expect this thread to move to the EL section in the next couple of days.

    Stoke Potters

Seems like Stoke arn't the only one's dropping to the NL.

    Elrc - 16th October

My money is on the new World Long Track Champion doing well in this meeting
  4. I'd be very surprised if either rode in these matches on Thursday.

    Super Sevens

And it's not at Kings Lynn this year either so the wait continues.

    Super Sevens

The announcement (or not) of this years Super 7even's has been a right cook up from the start for which the BSPA MC could pay a high price.
  7. Good addition to the line up, just needs Kenneth to smooth over his contract issues with the Panthers promotion now.
  8. The BSPA pay the home promotion a staging fee to cover their costs such as stadium rent, payment of staff, advertising etc,
  9. It would have been good to have seen the ELRC back at Birmingham, unfortunately the promoter there wanted too much for staging it this year.
  10. Unfortunately the idea in 2007 of running these events at "neutral" tracks led to poor monetary returns in comparison to previous years, hence why they were moved away in 2008 and again in 2009

    Speedway World Cup

I think what Vicki is trying to say that the East of England Showground will stage round 2 of this years SWC on Monday July 13
  12. Gorican ? Is that Croatia ? I'd be up for that for sure.
  13. I forsee now that BSI Speedway will within 5 years decide to end their involvement with SGP, the FIM selling the rights to Speedsport, Ole Olsen's company, with Jacob Olsen as Race Director. Vojens will then have a SGP every year, and each year it will rain there
  14. Oh how far we've come since 2001. 8 years on and we've got still got 6 SGPs, plus now 3 repeats in repeat countries (European, Scandinavian, and now god help us Nordic !!), and just 2 new markets than those since 2001, those Speedway hotbeds of Slovenia (3 tracks only) and Latvia (just 1 track to its name) Just exactly what does the BSI Speedway business plan say ? Time to make less = more I think !
