There's also is something called a Mickey Mouse Bollox operating model which unfortunately renders all leagues pretty worthless in winning.. Therefore. Getting someone like Lambert to come over here should be something to sit back and enjoy.. Good to hear Chris Louis was someone who can see the bigger picture and his programme notes last week also gave you hope that some within the "higher echelons" know the potential of the sport if ran properly... When you use averages, and given all the manipulation and variable ways they get delivered it is definitely not an exact science, (nor in my opinion fit for purpose, but that's for another time)... You then cannot complain when they get used to bring in riders for those injured.. You either have to use them or not and given the whole season sees guests being used on a horses for courses/ringer basis, then at least we have one rider now who will complete (hopefully), 3 meetings.. Just a shame he couldnt have done all four... Let's hope we see some great racing tonight from him..

The BSPA directors must have been "satisfied it is in the best interests of the sport" I presume... Bringing another one the best riders in the world into the Premiership must be seen as that...

No way... Robert grew up an Aces fan.. His dream being to ride for the Aces and pull on that famous Ace of Clubs body colour... He had an Aces matching pillow and duvet set, and posters of Jason Crump and Ricky Kling on the walls of his bedroom... And Aces PJ's too... Oh Yes. No worries about Robert's devotion to the Aces..

But he has been out since then.. So with his reduction for that he should come in on a 4.00 and be able to replace Jye Etheridge if he mysteriously develops long term ear ache tonight which rules him out of the rest of the season... Great to have Robert involved.. An Aces Legend returning....

The Month of March for Testimonials, Challenges, and Individual Meetings like the PCMM.. - Gives riders a chance to prepare for the club racing ahead... 01 April to 31 August - The Leagues September - The League Cups October - The British Championships, League Riders Championships. Pairs events... Cannot be good to expect fans or riders financially to cram in so many meetings at the end of a season... Fans, particularly of successful teams, as they fork out for several meetings home and away for their team in one months salary, (this must hit the potential away followings especially), and surely better to have Leagues and Cups decided in better weather to attract more people? And riders, as currently one injury that means just a week out, can take out a lot of rides and earning potential after several weeks of inactivity. And also the stress on man and machinery of racing so much so frequently. Forking out money in the last weeks of the season for instant repairs won't be too popular I would suggest... Still. As it ain't broken, it doesnt need fixing does it....

Same plan as Thursday. .. Let Doyle win his five races, no risks taken racing him if he is in front, and win the majority of the other 10 races... Good audition for Klindt for the final too...

When you put it like that it shows how great this season has been for Bewley and Lambert.. Two Russian superstars or two truly world class riders have places "up in the air", whilst both these lads are already nailed on...

No idea why Dan keeps picking Yellow for his first ride... I realise later on he gets the inside twice but by then it can be too late... Especially as the dirt moves out later and the outside gates improve... Take a 'safe second' or at least a thitd in your first heat if you cannot win..
