    League Cup Semi Finals

Taken from Speedway GB website - The best runners-up is determined by taking best average MATCH POINTS from completed meetings. Rye House - 8 meetings (384 points for / 339 against) average match points = 48 - 42.375 (+5.625) Glasgow - 6 meetings (284 points for / 265 against) average match points = 47.33 - 44.17 (+3.16) Please someone correct me if I am wrong but that makes Rye House the best Runners up!!

    Rye House 2014

What a lot of people don't seem to know or have forgotten is that Sittingbourne were only granted an initial 3 year lease so going premier league at the moment would seem to me a non-starter. Plus the very unusual early start time on a weekday which for any fan travelling more than a few miles makes it virtually impossible to get to on-time after finishing work!!
  3. Knowing Lens track record with early call offs & looking at the crap forecast for tomorrow (yet again on a Saturday!!) would not be surprised to see the usual signs before 10am on a Saturday morning..... "Rye house speedway - POSTPONED"
  4. cannot use R/R because since the team was re-declared with Jason in the main body of the team he hasn't actually ridden. so the only solution available to us is a national league guest.

    Rye House V Redcar 27/7/13

Looking at tomorrows weather forecast - a rain off is the most likely result we will get :-(

    Rye House 2013

just a typical Rye House mess created by a very lethargic promotion, plenty of riders out there to give us half a chance of pulling this season out of the fire but as usual they just can't see the wood for the trees and nothing gets done!

    Rye House 2013

Another chance of a quality rider to bolster our ailing tail has gone begging - Roynon signs for Sheffield. How many more chances are we going to miss??

    Rye House 2013

Something has to be done about the Rye House reserves - last nights showing was our problem in a nut shell, paid 20 for Ipswich to ryes 4+1 (all from one rider). Totally agree with shadders, you will win nothing with duff reserves. Poor Simon Lambert is in a no win situation at the moment (literally) needs confidence by the bucket load but is no where near winning races to build up that confidence. For Simon's sake as much as the team he has to be replaced with someone who can at least get you 5/6 points home and away. Kasper just seems to have stalled - just when you think he is going to break into a second string role he takes one step forward & 2 steps back, I for one cannot make this out as the guy clearly has bags of ability...will he ever get significantly better?? the jury is still out.! .Nelson is a whole new can of worms, I don't think I have ever seen a rider try so hard for such little reward, there is something drastically wrong with his engines at the moment as his bikes were just going backwards all night. Every Rye House fan knows how good Nelson can be given a decent bike. The key to our season from this week onwards is to get Jason Garrity down to reserve when he returns, then we will have something to get excited about.... Down to you uncle Len!!!
  9. weather looking dodgy tomorrow to say the least - will give it till about 5.15 before making up my mind whether to go or not - on current form & rye house riders distinct lack of track time - quite expect Ipswich to beat us by at least 12/14 points :-(

Rye House V Sheffield Pl 15th June

Totally agree Ben, using a horses for courses guest at no.1 - with a possible 6 rides is certainly the way to cover for Olly as a temporary measure - just hope he isn't out for too long. R/R for Mear should be ok with everyone eligible to take a ride, so not disastrous. Jason Garrity cannot come back soon enough!!!!

Rye House V Sheffield Pl 15th June

the promotion have to use the opportunity which has presented itself and bring Adam Roynon in until Jason Garrity is fit then drop Jason down to reserve in place of a very out of sorts Simon Lambert & yes the averages do fit...Just!!

Rye V Plymouth Sat 9th June

Referee on Saturday was shocking - how can you award a race to a rider who crashed of his own accord in exactly the same place barely a second after the leader (kasper lykke) had crashed? to any person with half a brain that would have to be a double exclusion, And to top it all the Olly Allen exclusion was just as bad (from my view point opposite the start/finish line)- yes Olly locked up after cutting up the inside but he was still on the bike and Morris just hit him! How on earth can he come to the conclusion that Olly caused the race stoppage - had Morris taken evasive action the race would not have even been stopped! Very poor showing from an experienced Referee. :-(
  14. this looks like going down to the wire - as a rye fan I would hope for a rockets aggregate win, but its gonna be close!!
  15. it would be difficult to proportion blame to one authority or another without knowing the full facts of each individual. However it does seem that the common denominator here is that they are all Australian which does look rather suspicious!!
