Mmmmm!See Gorzow have the following: 19.03 v Tarnow 25.3 v Z.G (looks like at Gorzow) 30.03 v Bydgoszcz what are the chances of a good Tarnow side turning up?Obviously can't see any top foreigners but does Tomek turn out for such meetings?Could go to the Ice speedway in Berlin on the 18th then travel on to Gorzow the next day

Thats right, but it is sanctioned by the Russian sports council(minister) to hold all National motorsports events. So really they have theright to hold all Russian championships. Also heavily involved is ex-Ice speedway rider,Vitali Russkich, who was thrown out of the MFR because of financial irregularities. So we have one federation that is sactioned by the Russians and one by FIM Also, more to my theory that there will be trouble ahead, according to a report in a german motorsport magazine, both Krasnogorsk and Saransk have alligned themselves with the NRMF and so there is currently no venue for the Semi or the GP in Russia.Thought there might be something up as Saransk didn't send a team to the Russian Junior Championship at the weekends, though one was expected. This is not concrete of course.
-
I've heard the clubs make the decision which federation they ride for and the riders have to go with that. The one club that seems to have the best of both worlds at the moment is Saransk.Their riders have been in both competitions.Even though they rode in the NRMF Russian final they have been nominated by the MFR for the WC.Well the GP is being held there so they have to really.Still wonder if there will be trouble ahead and particularly at Saransk

Dinosaurius Serenius! What a racer! What sort of attention does he get in the Swedish media,Mikael?

Seems to be a mistake with heat 17....no winner

Thanks tommy. Some good meetings there,Gorzow and Wroclaw being most attractive and i'm hoping to take a couple of weeks holiday at just that time, what with the Ice speedway......
-
Of course we don't know yet how the meeting went, but a bit surprised at Grahams placing. And that of Saifutdinovs.I heard Bulankin had a fall yesterday in training, which might explain that one Heat by heat details can now be seen here

Looks like the meeting at Saalfelden can be followed live here

When will the home meeting against Leszno be ?
-
Thanks garf, but it is specifically the pre-season meetings i'm after.Especially the saturday ones, which are handy for me,rather than sunday. Thought the Superliga might be out soon as there seems to have been a meeting getting all the regulations sorted.Just have to wait.At least there should be something the day after the GP at Slangerup
-
Graham could conceivably get 5 pts from the first 2 rides which would put him in a good position. Then he just needs to keep picking up a point or 2 here and there.Lets hope so Will be interesting to see how Nikulin and Tschatschin go.And if Holstein gets a chance, how he goes in this sort of class. I do hope the Russian riders aren't used in some battle for power, but it seems the fans will miss out on seeing some of the best riders in the world, whoever riders
-
Thanks garf.It was from KB's site that i saw the Wroclaw fixtures. It is mainly fixtures at Zielona or Gorzow i'm interested in at the mo Any idea when the Superliga fixtures come out? Mikael,it looks like most of the Danish youngsters will be doing the 3 leagues.Klindt,Raun,Madsen,Möller,Risager..can't remember if Hougaard has signed but wouldn't surprise me.What with Superliga and Division 1 matches in Denmark and the other leagues(although how many meetings they will do in Poland isn't set?)yes, very busy but should help them come along.I said last year i can see some of these riders making up a very strong Danish U21 side in a couple of years.

What is arranged for pre-season practice matches?I see there is 1 April vs Wroclaw.Any more at home?

Golden Spike 2006 - Riders/results
iris123 replied to Conkers's topic in International World of Speedway
Well Conkers from what i've been reading on the russian sites, the battle between the 2 federations goes on.The NRMF are saying those riders that rode in the MFR Russian Final can't go into the Quali's this weekend. They are even threatening to ban Krasnikov,Bulankin, etc from next years Russian championship and therefore the World Champ, etc. It will be interesting to see if both federations send riders this weekend and who will be allowed to compete if they do.So its not just the Golden Spike series, that is a shambles at the moment.Just a pity that Günther Bauer is out as this could be just the opportunity he could take advantage of. I await the results with interest -
And Nikolai Klindt joins the rest at Wroclaw
-
Yeah,so you can quickly put it on the german forum There was one or more US web-sites with all this stuff on it,but can't remember.Conkers is the man for this maybe

Golden Spike 2006 - Riders/results
iris123 replied to Conkers's topic in International World of Speedway
All i can say is beware of Dutch keyboard kommando's I know they mean no harm, but there is an element of racing to get results online between a couple of them, without waiting for reliable sources. It could even be that because people know this(they are all over asking for results)they post false things .A few months back one was posting the line-up for Neustadt/Dosse without realising it was the line-up from the previous year. And i see there are Russian nominations for the Euro Ice champ, with "unconfirmed"by them.Be careful,be very careful -
