Yes,good start from Eibl.
Gave the wrong info on Sven Holstein,Conkers although i did put a question mark against his age. There was a big thing in BSA last month about his sidecar career(he won the European Sidecar title) and he is only 17.Got BSA after i put that on here and never got round to changing it.Wonder if this is a new direction in his career.Maybe we will hear more on inspeed as his girlfriend Crazy Daisy does post on there
-
No,no it has to go to Kenneth's young team colleague Leon Madsen
-
Yeah, not sure what happened as i'm just trying it out,but i did fill out the caption bit, just doesn't seem to be there.Sure you both know most, maybe the young Eagles are the hard ones

Most of the top riders are from the home track,Ufa,with the exeption of Bogdanov.
What is interesting is the non appearance of Lumpov and Baseev, who qualified through the semi's but are Saransk riders and will presumably ride in the other Russian final being held at Saransk this weekend as well.Just wonder if Saransk after wavering a bit have now joined the NRMF and does that put their holding of the GP's in jeopardy?
-
Thanks for the confirmation Frigbo.Thought i might have got the wrong man!Looked in my photo album and don't have one of him, just a Wolves photo with Eskildsen sporting a similar one
-
Is he the one with the bushy moustache,a bit like one of the Village People ?
-
Seen a few short clips and can't really see that it is speedway(do they have breaks?).It's motorbikes going round a track.Looks about as related as Formula 1 and Rallythingymy.Maybe seen the wrong clips but looks about as interesting as the Superbike stuff, which interests me not one iota.
-
Interesting figures.
Have seen that for some Horse Jumping tournament here in Germany this year(same time as the World Cup) they have sold 300,000 tickets and expect the crowd to total 500,000.It is on over the course of a week, but still try adding up 8 or 10 of the top speedway meetings and it comes some way short.
-
Like i siad garf,he just had a bad day at work,we all have them.Rather unfortunate with mechanical problems that night at Holsted.I wish him all the best with all his clubs and hope to see him perform to his capabilities
-
Oh you can be sure of that, but why not come to Brokstedt if Olching are there and see them both :or go to Abensberg, support England and see Morten for Denmark and the young German team
-
Yeah,i thought he had signed for more than just the one season.Hope so.As for the Bundesliga i think they are doing away with the 2 groups and it will be back to the mini league table to decide the best 4 teams for the final. This will mean that Brokstedt might not ride at Olching this year.
-
Don't think much has been announced yet, apart from the usual.Think it has been decided to only allow 2 foreign riders per team.Could see a few moves.Matze Schultz maybe as Parchim are not in the 1.Bundesliga next season.Seems as though Kevin Wölbert isn't happy with Neuenknick,so maybe he goes to parent club Güstrow. The one team that really lacks a top german rider is Stralsund,so maybe see them in the chase for someone(interested to see that Christian Hefenbrock is listed as not having signed for Teterow yet )What about Morten?
-
Seems like i have stumbled on the new youngster from Austria, who is appearing in the U21's.More here
-
Heat by heat details from all 4 meetings can be seen here.
Att:660 last night.
And to confirm your suspicions Conkers in next months BSA it mentions that Paul Bondarenko is the nephew of ex-World Champ Anatolij. Also mentions tha the U21 comp at the Golden Spike meetings will include a 15 year old Austrian newcomer and that they will probably have the U21's before the meeting in Berlin as well.
-
Yep, I think he already signed-Torun just has to announce it and make the signing official. Seen Bjerre last year in Gorzow, wasn't too impressed with him.I guess its just a question of getting used to polish tracks and IMO he'll be good for about 7 points in E-liga.Saw him last year in Denmark and wasn't too impressed,so not sure if it's just Polish tracks
sorry garf,i'm sure it was just a bad day at the office

No results from Kamensk as yet
First 4 qualify for the final. The 8 best riders from the Cup of Russia(NRMF) are seeded through:I. Iwanow, D. Iwanow, W. Khomitsewitsch, D. Khomitsewitsch, Sakharow, Lumpow, Basejew und Makarow.Interesting to see that Lumpow and Basejew seem to be in both MFR and NRMF competitions, although it remains to be seen if they compete in both

Can't rule anything out in speedway, but it's looking increasingly unlikely. The riders and fans are of little importance when it comes to a battle for power.

Seems the trouble between the two Russian federations has not been solved and the riders from Kamensk and Blago are sticking with the NRMF.That means no entry into the World Championship or European championship for the Khomitsevitch and Ivanov brothers for instance.

Don't forget to look at the Polish 2 div fixtures as Miskolc are in the league next season
Russian Ice Speedway Final(mfr)
in International World of Speedway

Hey,hey.Do i sense a bit of Scandanavian rivalry here
The Swedish Ice league starts today and of course it is a bit sad that more riders haven't come through from both countries to rival the Russians, but maybe we will see a rider from Finland win the World Longtrack Championship this year
