Scunthorpe V Berwick - Friday, August 2nd (7.30pm)
Edwardian replied to lucifer sam's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I feel sure the person who shouted after Ricky's accident had no idea how serious his accident was, people do shout it happens near enough everywhere more often than not it is the heat of the moment and wanting their team to win. ( well I hope ) What is more worrying is the amount and the seriousness of the accidents this season hardly any team Elite Premier has a full team riders are out of action for weeks and weeks some their season is over, what the hell is going on I don't remember it ever beeing this bad where nearly every time there is a meeting there is an injury, I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking like this. Praying for Ricky and your family please wake up soon and be ok. -

I am sorry, but I was there and those words where shouted amongst "scum" and " I hope you've broke your f**** neck" I will never go to that place again. True it was a minority but will not let my youngsters think that is normal it was not banter as you call it -

2012 British Championship Semi Final @ Rye House... 7th July
Edwardian replied to Shadders's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Some one higher in authority obviously doesn't think he's quite good enough,(reserve) I personally think Richie has earned a place in that line up. Plus he needs all the experience he gain at a level such as this, it will help him in his World U21 championship which he happens to be representing GB. What is British Speedway doing at all? -
Montie I am just saying I myself think he's long gone. That dosnt mean I hope he is. Like you say it's a numbers game.
-
There are not many who leave and then return with the exemption of Birks, I'm thinking with today's news Master Ritchie Worrall is long gone.

I thought Scunny would of entered The Knock out cup etc, they of had hat trick

I don't know how to put it into words. Excellent meeting. It had everything but The Mighty Saints came roaring back what a meeting 1st class Well Done and Congratulations to The Saints/prowlers. Amazing nailbiting to the end.

Let's all make sure we stand together then if the meeting is anything like last night we are in for one he'll of a night. Superb racing totally enjoyed it.
-
I couldn't attempt to predict a winner but my god isn't it exciting, I hope The Saints/Sheffield Plowlers do All concerned and themselves proud Come on lads go for it! And stay safe all riders.
-
For heavens sake can this not be left to a later date. These riders have a final to get through it is the last thing they need on there minds. ' am I rideing myself out of a job' totally inconsiderate in my my opinion.
-
Your word NL dosnt owe you a living, and your trying to give riders who are struggling to make ends meet some advise.. It dosnt matter what league these lads ride they are ALL doing it for a living other wise why would risk there necks and as a rider you will know that Dean.
-
I think you are going a bit to far here, when you say the likes of Simon lambert and Ash birks they double up in PL they need to have there bikes tuned and tip top.. I think you are rather putting other riders down here, riders are looking for sponsorship and help and your making it sound so inexpensive and matter of fact that these other riders have not got a clue.. How do you think they even got a PL ride in the first place? Ash Birks has not been doing speedway for 3-4 years like some he has had one year NL and gone straight to PL. That's progress If riders want to progress a bog standard like you say will not do other wise your dropped. And if you work 6 days a week and ride speedway arnt you the lucky one to fit it all in.
