There's a three-and-a-half page interview with Mike Lee, talking about Mildenhall's relaunch on Sunday and the future there, in today's issue of Speedway Star.
And it is a very interesting interview.
I would expect a lot bigger crowd this weekend against Dudley than the break even figure of 550 that was mentioned in the article.
Seems like a very good set-up at the Fen Tigers.

The main thing is that Coventry/Peterborough are back and the riders have teams and most important the FANS have their Speedway!!!!!!!
Lets hope a ten team League becomes at least a twelve team League next year (you can but hope?).

I hope you're not, like many, confusing the existing entity that IS Sittingbourne Speedway with another completely separate one that MAY stage speedway in future.
The track at Iwade IS Sittingbourne Speedway and the management there are putting together a side to travel to the Isle of Wight for the season's opener at Smallbrook.
Then there is the Greyhound Stadium - http://sittingbournegreyhounds.co.uk at Central Park which MIGHT be a future venue for our sport but not this year I feel sure.
I thought that Mr Cearns said there may well be some Open meetings/Challenge? this year at some time - or did I get the wrong idea ?

I am looking forward to watching the Hackney Hawks at Lakeside.
The double header at Easter should be good.
I wonder if the opposition for the Hawks will be Mildenhall on that day ?

If the Hawks follow the same pattern as Lakeside and Rye House I would expect the team to be announced all at once.
Also I wonder if they will have their own Website ?
There is a Hackney Website below which has not been updated for a while.

What strange wording !!
So I presume it means NO play-offs and the team that finishes TOP will be Champions of the NL 2011 ??????????

I see it is now confirmed on the BSPA that 9 teams will be competing in the 2011 National League.
Sadly, I can't read more yet, as the faulty link that leads to a blank page with a years-old date as header problem on the main page news stories seems to still not have been fixed.
How frustrating is that ?

Last week it was anounced the NDL would be 8 teams - maybe up to 10.
So Belle Vue Colts are Number 9.
Will there be a Number 10 or not.
And if so who ????

Cannot see Rye House running with the Rockets,Cobra`s and Hawks (shared with Lakeside) ?
So from the BSPA website that would leave 8.
We have to presume Belle Vue is one of the other possibles.
I hope Sittingbourne is still in the running,but that has all gone very quiet.

With the new Silencers slowing down the bikes slightly I would have thought a lot of the records will stand for a while ?
