No reply as yet from Dale, in fairness he does not usually duck out of such things. If the queue jumpers were so called VIP's I would suggest that "VERY IGNORANT PERSONS" would be a better appellation. All are equal at the gate but like "Animal Farm" some are more equal than others.

I have already e mailed Dale Allitt re this as the lack of direction resulted in people having to queue when they did not need to. No reply as yet. As wife a BB holder we now are able to park inside, this is not without its problems due to the new gates now being used. One of the problems on Monday were those who felt they did not have to queue steaming up the outside then trying to force their way into BB and VIP queue thus causing even further delays for those trying to get to normal parking area. As I said earlier one particular chap seemed perfectly prepared to crash his car to achieve this. A number of people in camper vans tried the same ploy ,I originally thought they were riders but now I wonder

I am convinced this result was not contrived to give more meaning to the return on Thursday

I don't think the start Marshall is in radio contact with the referee , it seems inconceivable to me that the ref did not see it as the ref is directly above the start looking down at it. Also has the rule that riders not allowed to come across the centre green been rescinded? As NKI did this towards the end with no comment apart from the crowd. What other sport incidentally would allow a club official to criticise a referee.

The reason was that it was not made clear there should be two different queues and a change of previous entry points. Also remember that BB holders ,Riders and VIP'S use same entrance. So called VIP's feel they don't have to queue and steam up the outside blocking everything.

It is beyond comprehension that the track was prepared in a way that did not suit home riders or at the very least they did no know it was being prepared that way

Totally deserved win for Lynn , think they would probably still won if MPT had not been injured. Apart from tapes farce, has the rule re going over centre green on way to tapes been rescinded?

We must respect your view!! This is a genuine question not meant to be controversial , but was it you who sold Hyde Road?

    Is the BSPL corrupt?

Making money has ever been the main driver. However those now in charge IMO take it to a different level.

I think that Speedway in latter times has been a closed shop run by and for what in my opinion is a bunch of spivs and wide boys. They effectively forced Frost and arguably Sandhu out of the sport and probably Ged Rathbone too. In days of yore the sport was in the hands of hard nosed business men who however had standards and honour and integrity.
  19. Indeed they did . My memory goes back a long way Speedway wise. Have seen the likes of Peter Craven, Jack Young, Split Waterman , Tommy Price ,Fred Williams and Bill Kitchen ride. Tracks were black made of cinders in my earliest memories . My favourite rider was Brian Crutcher.
  20. In days of yore they had a short grade between each race and all went seamlessly , Race finishes tractor out , bikes got ready for next , ready for push off immediately after grade. Just did not get the extended delays
  21. Same here, one last effort never complained about the charge, rather the serial chaos at the disabled VIP gate.
  22. For gods sake wanted to know so could have correct money ready. For this meeting did not give a stuff how much parking was.. This meeting and pricing was down to Ben Fund Organisers not Peterborough. Not advertised in blurb and those asked did not know
