Peterborough Panthers 2014

It seems the new management feel all season ticket holders are likely to be crooks. What else can be the reason for the requirement to supply photographs.. -

Might have agreed if the positions were reversed. -

By any yard stick Premier League is second tier. Some may well for reasons best known to themselves prefer it. I have to say from what I have seen the racing has been pretty good. However would those who support The Posh prefer to be in Div 2 because you perceive the Football to be better?. What Premier League means is that we are not at the Sharp End and will no longer see the Top Riders.( such as they are). I am willling to concede that MH has saved Panthers but can any one doubt that his main loyalty is now with Coventry. -

Pains me to see Panthers in Premier League even more that it seems many are more than happy for them to stay there. -
No hope of a swift return to Elite League then!!!

Wherever this thread is there is a growing suspicion that it was never the intention to close down Panthers, but to drop into Premier League. This way it looks like Panthers have been saved the other way looked like a demotion.
-
Certainly not Friday, also as long as Horton is in charge a return to Elite League is not on the cards.
-
Premier League at best can only be descibed as better than nothing.
-
Like most Panthers fans I have to say it will be great news that Panthers will continue. However for me going into second tier is very much second best. Particularly galling is that our "friends " down the road have been indecently quick to decend on the carcass.

I must let him have his moment. My spelling was as pointed out wrong due of course to a typing blip and a myopic condition and has now been put right. But as I say it would be churlish to take that away.

I have never felt less interested in Speedway. It is a million miles from the sport I once knew. The continual watering down has resulted not only in a product unfit for purpose but is also largely responsible for the total absence of any british riders of quality. I do not regard Tai as British and I suspect neither does he.

If you think good news is a team in Premier League , to my my mind it just means the news is not as bad as it could have been.

I understand that Trevor Swales has said that this was muted before the departure of RF, but now seems dead in the water. -

I suspect this is how the majority will feel. If BSPA ignore this forum as some suggest it is because they suffer from ostrich syndrome and can't see the wood for the trees. Probably more correct to say won't rather than can't -
What a load of drivel, does anybody give a hoot until all is sorted one way or the other.

To clarify suggest it should be Bordeaux v Burgundy.
-
Makes their claim that they will do all they can to ensure Panthers future sound a bit hollow.

Previous owners have left us with massive debts, the Frosts have left us without a club.
