The track may be better than Cardiff but i do not think the facilities are quite up to the Millenium stadium...................... -

Handy Hints For Cardiff

Hate to put a negative attitude to this post but i find Cardiff a bit of a bummer to get to and find accomadation (expensive aswell). Having been twice before and really enjoyed the weekends i find it tough to justify the cost (having said that i can afford it ?) and long drive. If only the Millenium stadium could be transported to London or Manchester!! Looks like i will be watching a recording this year as i am working that day too. Have a great weekend and dont forget the ear plugs. -

Would love to see Trick win again, the guy is class. Jason Crump has started the season like a train and will be breathing down Tonys neck all year. Cannot really see anyone else challenging Rickardsson and Crump this year but hopefully Lee Richardson and Scotty can pick up a few GP wins. Would also like to see the qualifying opening up more in the future with maybe only the top four or six going forward to the next year. -

There is a track quite near Borrowdale................Worky and we never get rained off!! Thought the riders should have given it a go, have seen quite a few meetings go ahead in a lot worse conditions ( Worky v Edinbrugh a few seasons ago and a Pairs meeting that Stoney and Mickey Powell won). Maybe its just me but latley the riders seem to want to call it a day at the first signs of rain but then again i am not the one shifting the shale!! -

Hopefully Trick will make it the magnificent seven, Scotty to improve this year if he can keep clear of unjury, with Crump and Adams to fight it out for the second and third places. -

Czech Grand Prix - Prague
Midnight Blue replied to Subedei's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Well said Gemini, i,m sick of all the negative posts regarding TRick, the guys a star and by the way was one of the most freindly and approachable riders at the last Stoneleigh event. "What about a new scoring system for next years GP,s if TRick is leading by more than 10 points then he has to ride a moped at the next GP" (Would probably still win) -
Hancock/pedersen Incident
Midnight Blue replied to Liontamer's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Crump was very hard on Hampel and fairly or unfairly if he does not fall the race usually continues, irrespective of Pedersens past misdemeanors in this case i felt he should have been excluded for causing the race to be stopped. -
Hancock/pedersen Incident
Midnight Blue replied to Liontamer's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Bring back the Cardiff referee!! Pedersen should have been excluded, it was just a hard second bend, sometimes confused with first bend bunching by riders who should know better and race commentators. What about Scotty, gets knocked off at the first bend (first bend incident ) then gets excluded!! Later picks himself up off the floor to let the race continue......................well said Chris Louis about needing to stay down. Well done TRick another master class. Tony Millard: Was that incident caused by the green light...................................
