Well Bates got up and cleared the track when Leicester were conceding a 5-1. Also, starts called back for no reason, so Newman & Janowski weren't rolling then.

I also think that because the track was a bit slicker last night, Max appeared to have visibly more confidence. Probably the ride of the season from Lewis Bridger in heat 10, fantastic effort to go from third to first, but he did look fast and controlled all night.

Have to disagree with the Iversen incident, even from the back straight you could see him rolling back after the start Marshall had gone back to the middle after pulling him forward time and time again.

Aren't the tapes along the white line?If you want to stop someone rolling backwards to get a flyer, you would need something behind the bikes.

The team was built to the same points limit as all the national league teams and from what said on Sunday, they were asked to fill in when Buxton withdrew from the competition. I liked the team when it was named and have seen many ride there very well in the MDL. It will be interesting to see whether it develops into a fully fledged NL team next year, if you have the facility available you may as well try and use it to its maximum potential.
