  1. So same problem as Birmingham, just too costly for second rate entertainment. When the price for performance and entertainment value is right the fans will come.
  2. What was the crowd size?

    Were are the Brum Fans

Once again try a new approach. For a forward thinking and fan appreciating club throw it out everywhere that it a tenner and kids accompanied by an adult free. This will see if it is price related and give a good example to every club that a new approach could work. Speedway always has and will be Risk Related for both Promoters and Riders, but Who Dares Wins in Both Cases.

    Were are the Brum Fans

It does appear on face value that a lot of effort has gone into promoting the Brummies this season with hand outs and advertisement. If it is still not working and attracting fans then it could be price related? Attracting 200 fans at £20 equates to £4000. So as a test indicator to rule that out why not charge £10 and see how many appear. Who knows if 400 fans attend, an increase of 50% but still the same £4000 and the answer. Very simple indicator.

    Scunthorpe 2023

I do not know where the 5.23 average comes from, I can only assume it is used to isolate riders who are British so some unknown foreigner can come in and cost a fortune and be useless as well.

    Scunthorpe 2023

Could Max Clegg fit into the side? Certainly did a job last season when given opportunity.

    Northern Junior League 2023

Can anyone provide scores for the Armadale Angels v Berwick Academy match please.
  8. So who owns it? You are good at algebra, is it right? How did you come to that conclusion and what does it mean?
  9. Could it be that St.Boniface`s Catholic College will not allow it to be sub leased and that is all it is and not a conspiracy?
  10. I personally think this is bonkers, most tracks operate an interval after every race hence the time to finish 15 minutes of racing over 2 and a half hours. Who needs an interval? Pure nonsense, who benefits from the interval, OH yes the riders need a break. This crap has killed the sport.
  11. Someone trying to be constructive about connections. The opposite side of the spectrum. Criticism is always welcome as long as their is a constructive way to redeem it. Most riders still around from the Bees era are either riding elsewhere or busy doing jobs, who would you like to see in the Coventry team? Well done to all at Birmingham for helping to keep the name of Coventry in the publics eye and lets live in hope of a return one day.

    Mildenhall 2023

It really surprises me on how little is known by a lot of alleged experienced posters/fans have on riders today. Great win today and bagful of points for Harrison as well.

    Berwick 2023

I understand rules are rules, but who makes them so stupid. It is a real shame what happened at Belle Vue for Archie, Mason and loss of Josh today. As a spectator who wants to see the best racing will not be going tonight as can only see a right drubbing, hope I am wrong. Can I ask why Luke Harrison was not allowed to ride or was it just a change of heart from management at Berwick?

    NL Fantasy Team 2022

Will their be a NL Fantasy Team for 2023?
  18. How far from the post point you are. The point being the world that we live in gives no respect to anyone anymore. If you are struggling then sod you we do not care even if your disabled just shut up and pay.
  19. Well its one less every week for me. 2 old codgers who sit near to me, no longer have access to the lift and walk through Peter Craven Suite to access their season ticket seats. If they pay for a meal they can have access every time they do. Having dodgy legs they used to use the toilets in the Suite as the difficulty in using stairs, pay for a meal and you can use them they have been told. No free programme with season tickets this year, only a long winding queue. What do you expect the crowd to be when you alienate the ones who keep it running (By screwing every last penny out of them) Where are the newbies everyone raves about at THE NATIONAL SPEEDWAY STADIUM not happening.

    MDL 2023

Everyone must understand that a lot of old timers, like my Dad supported teams now long gone. But they still have an affinity to them and although never happening these teams will not return. So any of the so called Ghost teams who they loved, were appearing in these leagues they would sponsor them and support them financially. Is a trick being missed here?

    NDL predictions 2023

Hit the nail on the head. Wishing all that are involved safe and successful riding. And yes looking at all the teams will be the most entertaining of all the leagues, with no clear favourite.

    NDL predictions 2023

    1. Bit harsh on McGurk brothers, being conned by any promotion is not nice. 2. Providing Adam can steer clear of injury and with Wood a relative unknown to some lots of surprises to uneducated. 3. Spencer does not receive the credit he deserves, probably underrated because people make assumptions without knowing the lad and his determination. As long as he avoids injury comfortable team and watch Boughen. 4. Oh dear. Scraping the bottom of barrel in lots of areas but lets see. 5. Killeen is not accident prone, just needs coaching properly like most riders to be patient, good prospect under correct tuition. 6. Mildenhall are a special team and always deceive and deliver, Congreve and Trigger will deliver handsomely. 7. Berwick will be okay with Coles, Blair and Phillips. Bottom end all will supply at times when needed. 8. Kent surprised everyone last year and sorely missed Alcock. No worries. All in all 8 well balanced teams and prefer to watch meetings in the NDL than any other league. Would not like to make any prediction, but lets have a safe season and no injuries. Best of sliding to all riding.

    Bellle Vue Colts 2023

Known as the National League, its official name is the National Development League. This is the entry level dedicated to the training and development of young home grown riders. The above is from SCB regulations 2022. Everyone can appreciate that an experienced older rider is vital to every team to enhance the development of younger riders in their team. But professional juniors who will never rise out of this level is farcical!
  24. Do Formula 1 and Formula E compete against each other, No. They are different categories.
  25. Firstly I watched all the E Speedway broadcast as I was genuinely interested I would think common sense would prevail in why the E speedway Bikes and Petrol bikes should not be mixed. Do Formula 1 and Formula E compete against each other, No. They are different categories What would have been more interesting yesterday would have been a race on E Bikes between the likes of Max James, Luke Harrison and Jamie Etherington. Then asking them how they felt about the bikes.
