You know maybe if he just tried a slight discount like this Sat for instance if there was to be a double header, anything is a worth a try . Them lads have rode their socks off this season and I know the team is decimated but 2 semi's and the playoffs is some achievement many other teams in the league would grab your hand off to be in our position . Lets hope Keith sees some sense and finishes the season off , we are not the only team struggling financially . Talk to the fans Keith you might just find out we are not aliens just human beings lke yourself and there would be a hell of alot of us devastated if the gates are to close

I am there every bloody week so yes I am supporting financially , I was saying about other fans not coming because of the team situation! As for Glasgow, Berwick etc, they must be losing money too but what have they done, reduced admission prices for certain for matches and tried to get fans back, but no not us he just pulls the plugs without trying anything, probably seen the prospect of a possible double header this weekend and instead of thinking of a slight discount to get fans through the gates he shuts. And you really believe that its the fans fault for the closure !!! Come off it, how long has Kyle been out for example, we needed 3 riders signed and we weren't able to sign one , people get the attitude that well if he can't be bothered I am not paying my money to see a 3 man team and 3 guests , simple as . Yeah really , did you not see on here the scenario not so long ago regarding Adam, believe he complained about the track and bully boy family member of the Denhams didn't take it very well and had Adam by the throat. If the comets were running next season would have been very doubtful you would have seen Adam here

Okay then lets change it to the Owner/Promotor. He is an absolute jerk, what was stopping him from going on the centre green last Saturday to speak to the fans that were there , you know the ones that paid the £15 to get in its so disrespectful to them fans and riders who were there, but no instead he does the usual from behind the radio/newspaper and pulls the plug. Who the hell does he think it is . He has no people skills whatsoever. Its took him 5 years to ruin speedway in Workington and lose the best riders along the way, Stoney, Rusty,Gary Irving, Kake, Adam Roynon , all loved to race for Workington until they disagreed with him and that was it, bye bye never to be seen again , as the same with the fans he banned from coming because they said something against him on the forums . And now finally he plays God once again and doesn't even give Workington Speedway a chance to carry on under someone new, and do you know why because he is frightened they will do a better job than he has done, which lets face it wouldn't be bloody hard

Absolutely typical of Denham, why can't he do the honourable thing to Workington Speedway fans and try and sell it to someone who can run it with proper managment skills , but no instead he pulls the plug just as the lads get ready to go into 2 cup semi's and the playoffs, surely the BSPA won't let him close him immediately , them lads have an earning to make its their job !!!! A sorry sad day in Workington , where are you Tony Mole please help us out of this mess !!!! Only 1 person killed speedway in Workington and thats the manager, hasn't a clue how to deal with riders, treats them like dirt on his shoe , doesn't speak to the fans , and then wonders why its in such a mess . I hope the BSPA make him run to the end of season, or fine him so heavily he has no other choice

Absolutely disgusting What is it with Denham and riders , they ride their backside off for the team but he always manages to have a fall-out with them, last season James Wright,Peter Kildemand this season Rusty,Gary and now Adam the guy needs to learn some people skills get off his high horse, the lad won the Pairs the other week in the Comets colours and thats the thanks you get, another rider bites the dust at worky and probably won't be back !!!! For me : Best Rider : Roynon and Richie Worrall and Rene isn't far behind Worst rider : Sitera and Mudgeway Nicest Food : Scunny Best track : Somerset ( good racing/passing )

God help us !!!! Lets hope it absolutely chucks it down tomorrow and its called off , looking like history will repeat itself and we have good old Mr R/R til the end of season

You get real , its true, do you ride the track ? ,does Denham ?, no exactly !!! Saturday was rubbish we scraped the win and the track was too slick ...Simple ..And going by previous we will use R/R probably until the end of season unless the price is right - pennies Yes I seen the link on BSPA website and your point is ?? Not only me that thinks the above I can guarantee you that .

Now it doesn't take an Einstein to work out that its alot more than family issues as to Rustys departure, have a little look on Facebook a whole different story on there Rusty hasn't looked himself at DP for weeks now something wasn't right. Going by Saturdays match the track was slick and bald no schale on it . Its high time that Mr Denham listened to his riders and stopped playing the high and mighty, its the lads that ride the bloody track not him , get your hand in your pocket and put some schale on the track!!!! These lads bust their gut every week out there and its time they were treat with a bit more respect . We all remember the unhappy camp last season and sudden departures of James and Peter , the team spirit was at a high a couple of weeks ago so lets get it back that way. R/R will not work for long there are riders out there give them a chance, Arnio,Poole or someone doubling up from the EL, we coming into a busy few weeks ahead don't leave it for weeks on end Workington can go far this season, come on Jacko back the lads up Best Wishes to Rusty and hopefully one day you will finish on a high at Workington

More than surprised he wasn't excluded from re-run, Dick by name and Dick by nature , Newcastle 6 down here comes hero Richie Worrall to the rescue, take two Workington riders out and ends up in the re-run. Yep you were right that did cost Workington the meeting and Newcastle did not deserve 1 point never mind 2, but they have to come to Derwent Park yet and thet will go home with what they deserve ....absolutely jack rubbish!!!!!!!!!
