Pretty disgusting that Riders from the best season in History are still waiting to get paid season ticket holders who bought tickets haven't been re-imbursed I know that for a fact !! That promotion ruined Speedway in Workington , it will never return they've damaged it that much !!!

And there lies the problem as to why folk love seeing Glasgow get done over , poaching clubs riders after they had agreed to sign , same as Workington with Rasmus last season , scopping crazy money at riders.....won them naff all over the last few seasons, still sat scratching their heads with an empty trophy cabinet, lets hope they sod off to the Premiership and do everyone a favour !! got to love that word Karma

How the hell would you know what I've suffered with or not suffered with 's ....If his illness is that bad it should be treat like ScoobyDoo has quoted as concussion and treat accordingly, imagine that all you Glasgow lot be screaming from the rooftops if he missed the playoffs , double standards !!! Cook is nothing better than a decent CL/PL rider, he will never make it in the GP's thank god we don't have to watch him struggling at the back next season ! Couldn;'t even make it in Poland He's a complete tool who thinks he's better than he is , totally unprofessional as showed again yesterday at Belle Vue lets hope his ban kicks in soon and he serves it like Vissing and kennett did

Yep he's got to start banging in the 15 points maximum in the Championship to regain his Hero status ! Aye its a shame he's got a broken bone in his wrist but if Cook wants to cut it with the big guns then he seriously needs to think about dropping this league and getting rides abroad, he will never be on par with the likes of Dudek, Woffinden, Zmarzlik , getting his bumps every week with the 15 points he gets at Ashfield every week . Jesus christ spare a thought for the riders who have signed on dotted line this season , they must be thinking hang on what the hell have I done signing for this crew have they learnt nowt from last year , not a wheel turned and the negativity has started already . Interesting conversation int pub last night..so Workington 99% finished as of 31st October !! Just a question ..,why haven't they publicised this to all and sundry like Ford at Poole and Rathbone p'boro ,to try and sell instead of just folding more than likely through a newspaper come next weekend ? Have they not wondered why no fundraises or out have been this season, not sure what Workington Trust donations were like but after the negativity of closing all the time is it any wunder folk haven't chucked in their £500's . I know I haven't but had I heard something like "we are struggling we need your help to continue Speedway" or "lets pull together to keep it" total different matter ...Track shop still selling hoodies etc, how fair is that folk still buying merchandise for what 3 meetings , Stadium will end up the excuse . the crowds in last couple of meetings have been well up just shows a lot of people still very much want Speedway in Wukington . its going to be a crying shame the most popular sport in the town is going down the pan !!!

What an absolute joke, decent weather all last weekend , Cook sitting pretty in television studios no speedway at either ground, yet they hold out for another week and he's still not bloody riding tomorrow and forecast to pish down all weekend .....

Maybe jacko should make more effort to interact with his team instead of standing on centre green , never see him rounding the riders up for team talks , patting them on the back , seeing if they are okay . You don’t see managers on telly in premiership stuck on centre green , he might know the rules inside out but he ain’t no team manager .

Cook riding in the Championship is a complete farce , he’s a (supposedly) GP rider for Christ sake, shows money talks you’ve tried to buy the league for the past few years let’s hope it goes to Lakeside, Peterborough or Workington . Not a bit of wonder British Speedway is on its arse and top riders prefer riding in Poland/ Sweden , nothing but a corrupt bunch of team managers running it into the ground .

After the awful night Saturday , hopefully Comets can re-group and carry on fighting for the playoffs..any news from promotion on how they going to get any more meetings in before the cut-off ? Be a crying shame after all the hard work so far the lads have put in all be for nothing. might be financial suicide for double headers, off night racing etc. but will even itself out as i can't see many folk coming to meaningless league meeting matches either when there's nothing to race for .time is running out !

Sadly Jenga you will have lots to talk about starting with the demise of Workington Speedway ...upset between riders and team manager were ever present on Saturday , team that with what looks like the promotion have threw in the white flag , that buzz from a few weeks earlier when the lads were racking up away win after away win , seems no-ones arsed anymore there’s no encouragement for the lads whatsoever. Unless someone gets the 7 numbers up on lottery in the next couple of months , the might blue and white will be closing them gates for the last time , so start you’re making your memoirs Jenga ...

Can anyone from the promotion clarify what exactly is going with our home fixtures ??? This team could have finished the league top if the meetings were held yet looks like we going to lose out for not getting meetings in Looking at Worky website no home meeting w/e 12/08/18 now just away to Newcastle So there's still Sheffield, Peterborough, Newcastle home meetings to get in with cut-off being sept 8th-9th ,

And so the continual silence continues !!! Why run this season when all that's happening is the demise of Workington Speedway sadly... Blaming the Fans all the time for not coming through the gates , what the hell do you expect when there's no interest keeping the fans up to date with whats happening, having to find out on Facebook from other teams who your bloody teams gona be .
